So the 'Who Killed Theo' saga carries on. I think we should find out who it is soon... Fit Kit and Swain are on the case still. (For what its worth!) 😆

Poor Sam has been sectioned, and is quite unwell, and has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Gary and Sarah are in cahoots about something, (related to Theo's death, I think.) Oh, and Maria thinks they're having an affair.

Some random lads are chasing and threatening Brodeh. Who knows why!

Ma Driscoll has been quiet for a while.

Will is still sneakily staying in touch with Megan Trainer!

Alya's cousin Idris (who has never been mentioned before AFAIK) has appeared on the street, and has been seeing Leanne.

Carl, Kevin, and dishy Ronnie have buried the hatchet (for now! Hopefully it lasts!)

And what is Jodie going to do with Carl's gun?!

Must admit that I am one of many on here who had thought that Abi and Alfie had moved back in with Kevin some time back ( after the roof incident / heart to heart). Guess they will move back now.

I imagine Abi will die at some point so Alfie can join the ranks of motherless children. Kevin can bring him up.

Maybe Abi will take up with Carl again, now he's turned into a 'goody'.

Yes, I thought Abi had moved back with Kevin too. I was wondering why we're all thinking that, and I've got a theory that she did move in a few months ago - (off screen) - and then moved back out - (also off screen) - back into her flat, and no-one told us. 😆 (Like no-one told us that David and Shona have forgiven Jodie, and she's welcome back into their home, and living there again!)

I sometimes wonder if I'm missing stuff, but reading this thread makes me realise that I'm not; it's them! Some of the storylines are sometimes not written properly. WTF are they doing? I'm sure this kind of thing never used to happen. It seems quite recent. (Last year or two?)

I agree also that Idris is very likely up to no good with Leanne. He's not into her. A man like him is into no-one except himself. He'll probably fleece her! She's a tough cookie though, so he better watch his back. I do occasionally wish that Janice Battersby would come back, but the actress (Vicky Entwistle) burnt her bridges with the Corrie people/producers/writers/actors a few years ago, so that's not gonna happen. And Les has died, so he's not returning!

Yes thank God the Megan shite has ended, (for now! Hopefully she won't appeal and get released!) 😬 But now it looks like we'll be having the doom and gloom of a very ill little boy (Abi's son Alfie.)

I keep forgetting about Harper. Wouldn’t she be home by now? I think since Covid and they had to do block filming that everything seems disjointed and we’re all so confused and they keep bringing new characters in who we don’t really care about and the ones we do either left like Eileen or are hardly seen like Ken, Rita, Audrey

I agree Idris is using Leanne. She owns (co-owns?) Speed Dahl. Will the story be money laundering, with him persuading her to launder his dirty money through the restaurant? Things never go well when she owns a restaurant, recently she on Classic she had failing restaurant Valandro's which ended very badly.

Yeah, that sounds like a possibility @Shellingbynight that Idris may try and go for her restaurant in some way or another! Does she part own it with Nick, or am I just making that up?

@SabreIsMyFave she co-owns with Alya the famous lawyer! Nick is Bistro. Idis obviously wants something from her and Speed Dahl is all she has really!

Yeah, I think you may be right @JewelleryCat It is odd that Harper isn't home by now. Isn't she like, half a year old now?!

And yeah I think you may be right about things going a bit weird since Covid too... (Bitty/unfinished storylines,) and it does seem disjointed sometimes. And the way Undead Becky was just instantly axed, the trial done in 19 seconds, and her jailed instantly was farcical!!!

And yes to the new characters that NO-ONE cares about. Feck off Jodie, bore off Idris! (Was either one ever been mentioned before they trotted onto the street, even though they are siblings of main characters who have been in Corrie for some years?!) And Megan! ARGH! Awful, horrible, loathesome character. 😖

I think there was mention, in passing, of Harper being allowed home soon. It seemed very casual, by parents who are not wholly focused on their baby's health and welfare, very alien to RL experience of having a baby in hospital. But ... Corrie.

We don’t even really know about Jodie and Graham. Corrie and Emmerdale have not explained it at all. I don’t think Idris was ever mentioned either

@SabreIsMyFave Shona and David went to the hospital to do a 5 month thing but the surgery was ages ago so she should be home by now

Harper was born Jan 7th so it ill be six months soon

The writers are putting off Harper coming home because they haven't a clue what to do with her. She will be too young for years yet to spend all her time in her room listening to her tapes, so its a conundrum. I suppose she will be placed in supernanny Jodie's care, and she will promptly lose her on the red rec or something, then pretend she has been kidnapped or some such nonsense. 🙄

Surely Jodie has perfected her kidnap plan by now, and it's time for Harper to come home. We just see them bickering about visiting, or sitting outside the hospital on a bench. It's so clear she just exists as a plot point.
