The Vanishing of Debbie Griggs (sky crime)

Anyone watched this, very sad case. Pretty obvious from the start that it was the husband. I actually can’t believe his second wife thinks he’s innocent, despite him transporting the body from Kent to Dorset and burning in the back garden. Then asking his son to dig it up
and send a lock of hair from abroad to throw police of the scent. I mean surely any woman in their right mind would dump a man who sleeps with a 14 year old. My mind just boggles. At least Debbie’s family got her back eventually.

It was fascinating wasn’t it? And the second wife, so deep in denial it was painful to watch.

I found it slightly creepy that he married someone with the same name. I wondered if it was all part of a sick game or joke.

The second wife was unreal. And his poor son.

Even if she believed he was innocent (which is staggering) the fact she was forgiving of what he asked his son is unreal.

It sounded like he’d isolated the sons away from Debbie’s family after the move so hopefully that’s been repaired and they’ve got good family support now.

The second wife was completely delusional. How could she possibly believe he was innocent. I think at least one other family member was involved.

Yes, I watched this last night. Oh my goodness absolutely horrific and horrifying. I can’t remember it at all

Imusthavesaiditwrong · 14/06/2026 07:35

To ask that of your son?

Toddlerteaplease · 14/06/2026 09:16

How can she believe that he found a random body, and panicked took it to Dorset.

To ask that of your son?

Think that’s the worst thing about it.

Exactly. What sort of twisted person does that? How must that poor son feel? He’s been lied to his poor life & been told his mother had abandoned him.
