FFS. They’ve gone and killed Monica Baddingham off in Rivals. No, no, no. Book Monica goes on to live her best lesbian life and is in some of the later books.

Thursday Murder Club royally ballsed up the who dunnit and had Bogdan arrested, when he’s literally a main character in all the subsequent books.

There are some changes that can work - All Creatures Great and Small made Mrs Hall A real person, and made some matching adjustments to Helen, but those made both characters more rounded and more real. Savaging a character, in opposition to their book arc, just for the sake of it is just wrong!

I enoyed Joanna Trollope's books and thought the television adaptations of The Rector's Wife and The Choir were really good. So when they adapted Other People's Children, I had high hopes. I can't remember ever being as disappointed in a series. I don't think there was a single character who wasn't woefully miscast.

Could you not have put Series 2 episode 6? I assumed you meant Series 1 as I thought only 3 episodes of Series 2 had been released so far. So thanks, the spoiler alert didn't help.

Livid. Was saving the last 3 episodes for Friday as long break until next ones released!!!!! Should have been a SERIES 2 Spoiler alert!!!!!!!
