Anyway, season 5 has dropped today, and whether you like Jeremy or not, he does highlight most how difficult it is to be a farmer in this day and age

Hannah was amazing and how she knew which bird was singing instantly. She seemed really nice.

Someone I knew was very like her. Spent years in Africa listening to birds and observing their behaviour. He was a very unusual and interesting person. It was thinking she would have been the ideal partner for him.

Jeez, I can't. I can't bear people who get borderline angry to get their point across. You never convert people by shouting them down.
I also loathe and detest people who breed puppies. There are thousands and thousands of dogs in rescue and indiscriminate breeding is abhorrent. They're not animal lovers, they're just commodifying them.

Jeremy yelling at men to get tested for prostate cancer. Given that mr derxa has just been treated for said cancer I concur.

When Jeremy said if you have no symptoms, LIE I was like yes, it's just a blood test you can give my husband who never darkens your door this test. He had to fight for a retest a few years after surgery because GP insisted an old test post operation was fine. DH insisted that it was the baseline, he wanted to know where it was now.

Just for those that have mentioned the puppies, he gave them away to family. He didn’t sell them or breed them for money.
His mum has one, his niece has one, he kept one etc not one was sold.

He’s in the news today saying he’s officially in remission. Great news!

Every single person who breeds is doing it to make money. There is no other reason to breed. It should all be suspended for several years until the current mess is sorted out.

What current mess?

I’ve known a few people who go into dog breeding as it’s seen as easy money and it’s not. It’s hard work and doesn’t always go to plan. I’m sure these two know what they are doing , but many don’t.

Thousands upon thousands of unwanted dogs who face a lifetime of abuse, neglect, being passed around, rescue centres euthanasia etc.

It doesn't matter if they do or don't know what they're doing. It contributes to the overall bigger picture.

She actually passed away in 2014 according to google but my point still stands. He gave them away and kept one for himself!

We've just finished watching Old Country and are now watching Out of Town both with Jack Hargreaves. An interesting man of decades ago. I think he and Jeremy would have been great friends.
