This strikes me as complete desperation! I’d never be able to live down the events
shown up by wagatha Christie!!

No won't be watching, didn't reaslise they'd done this but I can't stand the woman anyway...

OneHardyRobin · 30/05/2026 21:51

I won’t be watching, I can’t stand her and no-one is interested in steptoe.

The audacity to try and sue someone who called you out for selling stories about them is off the charts. She humiliated Peter Andre for a few quid, got pally with Lauryn Goodman to torment Annie Kilner, bullied that guy on I’m a Celeb, had to be spoken to at the World Cup for setting up pap shots with the wags. She’s vile and so desperate to be relevant.

TheAverageJoanne · 30/05/2026 21:53

He's supposed to be coming to my football team.

Who did she bully on i'm a celeb? 👀

I'm keen to see what the show is like 😄, cant believe she's survived losing to 'nice' Colleen

Yeah I agree, I reckon she sued to frighten Coleen in to withrawing the claims, but luckily Coleen wouldn't back down, good for her, snake Vardy is an out and out bully and a liar

SlightlyAjar · 30/05/2026 23:39

I’ve met her a few times. Quite as dreadful as she appears in the media, in my experience. Aggressive, gobby, the kind of woman you’d find pulling someone’s hair in the gutter outside a nightclub, screaming ‘Hands off my Jamie!’

IAmKerplunk · 30/05/2026 23:56

Normally I would watch something like this but can’t stand her. She is a bully and a liar (the latter proven in court)

TheAverageJoanne · 31/05/2026 00:55

She was working as a waitress in a cocktail bar when she met Jamie. True.

mumofoneAloneandwell · Yesterday 22:25

Did anybody watch? 👀

As if anybody would want to be 'hands on' with her Jamie. I wonder what she
sees in him.

Lucy Mangan at the Guardian (one of its few remaining good writers) is bored, disappointed and scathing:

‘If you are tuning in to the new three-part reality show The Vardys you will be disappointed. There’s nothing missing from that sentence. Whatever the reasons or expectations you have for tuning in, you will be disappointed. This is because it is very bad and very boring. That will make every viewer down in the mouth.

‘Those who tune in for more specific reasons – being a fan of Leicester City’s beloved former striker-god Jamie V or wanting to hear Rebekah V’s take on the “Wagatha Christie” libel case she brought against and lost to Coleen Rooney – will be even more let down.’

‘High drama, with the lowest stakes’ – what really happened at the Wagatha Christie trial

Vardy v Rooney wasn’t just a story about tabloids, celebrity and social media; it was an insight into modern Britain itself. I took a front-row seat for seven wild days at the high court

it is basically Becky moaning about how stressed she is whilst flying in private jets, luxury cars and living in a luxury house.
She then makes her husband feel guilty every 5 mins about the move and reminds him how grateful he should be whilst in another breath saying she wants all her family together but leaves her 2 eldest back in England.

I think he’s (relatively) nice, actually. Harmless, inarticulate. Looks kind of like a worried rat who’s not sure where his next meal is coming from.
