Of course Djok isn't in Jannik's half. Hopefully Casper can take him out. He will also need to get through either Dino Prizmic or Fonseca, which is going to sap his energy.

It's a tough draw for Stan, but on the other hand, he's guaranteed a great atmosphere playing Arthur Fils, I'm sure they'll be scheduled on Chatrier.

Jannik has an easy draw, but Iga can potentially meet Jelena in R3!

Iga playing Jelena is huge. Jelena really is Iga's kryptonite, and iga hasn't exactly been at the top of her game lately.

Yes, at this point, he probably doesn't want to expend too much energy. He's not going to gain too many more points by getting to the final (it's only a 250). I suppose it's pride more than anything - and he's won there there a few times before.
Plus, if he does get through this, he would face either Bublik or Tien next, and neither will be easy.

I've just seen that Djok was presented with what looks like a chocolate cake, plus champagne for his birthday. Good luck with that, unless it was actually dodgy fig juice, a grass cake and gluten (and anything else tasty) free....

I had to go out so missed the end of the matches earlier - but great wins for both. Buse in particular has had a great week.

Poor Arthur Fils, who was only just making it back from injuries, has now withdrawn from RG, He was scheduled to play Stan- Jesper de Jong, as a lucky loser, has taken Fils place. That might give Stan a chance of prologing his RG farewell.

Didn’t get to watch anything today. Well done to Ignacio. I saw him at one of the other tournaments (which one I can’t remember) - he’s very nice and luckily for him looks nothing like his ATP photo!
