Would you watch a spin-off series centred on Anne from Motherland?

Anne from Motherland and Amandaland is the standout character for me from both programmes, her comic timing and when she becomes more assertive is so funny. I wonder what it would be like if the character had her own show....?

I’d watch a spin off of Liz and Kevin from Motherland, I’m not sure about Anne though.

I like the way they've played on Anne being a more successful influencer than Amanda this series and they've alluded before to her having a high powered job, just feel like there's more mileage in that particularly as her and Amanda get older. But I would also watch anything with the original Motherland cast in, really loved the dynamic between the cast and it was spikier, funnier writing.

I think it is, we just havnt seen it yet.

I would watch an Anne spin off as I love her character.

But I would love to see what Liz and Kevin are both up to now. Not so much Julia as I found her actually to be selfish and self centered and quite unlikeable.

I would watch some 10 minutes skits on her garden influencing or something for comic relief for sure.

Anne needs Amanda to bounce off.

Without Amanda, I think Anne is very capable.

I think Anne needs Amanda or someone to vibe with. Not enough by herself.

For me the beauty of Julia’s character was the very fact that she was unlikeable.

See I liked and disliked Julia in equal measure. Yes she was a using pita but she seemed fun to be around and did try to show up for her kids. Her husband was the real useless one in their marriage.

Amanda thought she worked at Greggs.

I’m not sure I would watch it but I do think Anne has some hilarious aspects. Like the massive family all with the same name.

One of the funniest scenes is in Motherland when Anne has one of those 3D pin toy things that you mould your face in and it turns out she’s got her late dad’s face in it. Julia starts playing with it without realising and they then frantically try to re create the dad’s face before Anne gets back. It’s SO funny. And Anne’s not even in that scene until the end.

Not sure about Anne - she’s got some great lines - but I’d love to see Liz or Meg!

Oh god no. Anne is amusing in very small bursts but she could not manage a series. Amanda or Julia would have to be the main characters.

If you like Liz watch Mandy. It’s different though.
