Shall we speculate about who it will be that kills him?

It's going to be another 'who shot Phil' with all those cartoon-esque possibilities.

They only need the pesky kids and wavey lines to show regression at the end and it really will be scooby doo

munnzieb · 27/01/2005 13:32

well either way I hear he ends up under the VIC and their in talks for him coming back as a ghost! - I mean REALLY! get a new story line!

Report
bundle · 27/01/2005 13:33

chrissie deffo involved. there's an oblique ref in a trashy soap mag i read this morning - to blocked lavs in the vic. she finds out zoe is pg and still goes ahead with renewing vows with slimy den (remember she kept schtum when she knew about den's affair with kate, and hacked off her hair in bunny boiling manner?) and i think she buries him in the cellar ("just changing a barrel, dear...")

Report
bundle · 27/01/2005 13:34

she gets den to sign over half the vic first tho - presumably the kids he has littered all over the northern hemisphere will have to fight it out for the rest of the dosh.

so... 1.does chrissie know whats he's been up too?
2. where has gorgeous dennis gone?

Report
nailpolish · 27/01/2005 13:48

dennis went to the tube station and met chrissie and told her everything

do we know if/when dennis is coming back?

Report
StealthMouse · 27/01/2005 14:16

Last I heard, he and Sharon get married???? although I think somebody told me that so might be utter rubbish

Report
munnzieb · 27/01/2005 14:17

ooor right,t that would be good, also I think she should find out that she can have kids after all, ( a nice story line for a change)

Report
bundle · 27/01/2005 14:24

oh no munnzieb, i hate it when seemingly "impossible" things happen - like den rising from the dead, infertility being reversed etc. what ever happened to "just getting on with it?"

that doesn't make good viewing, sayin that thou, judging by their ratings lately! lol..

the plots are too far fetched. or maybe the characters just aren't as appealing. i really believed that someone like Lofty could exist...but not so sure about Alfie (given his sudden change of personality in the last year)

Report
foxinsocks · 27/01/2005 15:48

I agree bundle. For me it's not necessarily the story lines (although some of them leave a lot to be desired!) - it's the fundamental change in character they seem to go through. Alfie is one - I seem to remember Janine suddenly being completely different at one point and I do also think that the old Zoe wouldn't have put up with any of this Dennis nonsense with Sharon.
