I had to pause the show to look at the hopeful faces of Fil's mum and dad at their wedding. I'm clinging on to the tiny bit of love and romance this show has to offer.

Danny did have a point when he said the wives have been awful this year. And poor Scotty is a broken man!

I've been saying "poor Scotty" every night to DH for weeks. It's really sad to see. Gia really is the worst of her type of person.

Why do they behave like this? Surely they know it’s being filmed and will be aired on TV?

It’s bizarre isn’t it? Surely their careers and friendships will suffer when everyone sees what utterly vile people they are?

They probably get encouraged and told what huge stars they will be after. Although so many seasons in, you would have thought that they would be a bit more savvy.

I just think they choose them for the drama potential now. Nothing to do with matches.

I saw an article that said Bec, Gia and Brooke had all lost their jobs because of their behaviour on the show. But it had spoilers, so didn’t read it fully.

Why anyone would behave so badly while being filmed is beyond me. There’s no erasing it once it’s out there. Why even drink at the dinner parties etc.? It’s so risky. I wondered if there are hidden cameras at group events like dinner parties, retreat etc. to encourage them to let their guard down.

And why anyone with a child/children (other than perhaps adult children) would be on it is doubly beyond me. Leaving aside bad behaviour, being stitched up by edit, having your ‘faults’ griped about/analysed etc, they’re encouraged to talk about “intimacy” FFS! Imagine having to face other parents at school gate, not to mention impact on the child.

Just saw the MAFS USA commercial again. Do I have the bandwidth??!!

I can't help thinking that part of Scott's little breakdown was just the release from weeks of walking on eggshells and trying to keep Gia happy.

Oh definitely. And just seeing that he wasn't going crazy after all, because you could see that he did feel uncomfortable at times and like what he was going through wasn't normal.
