A new thread as the old one is on page 20..... And i'm frustrated that I am getting an app error when I try to watch the after show!! I want to see Ben and Eddy together watching Jenna enter Ben's room..... I'm going to have to search YouTube for clips instead.
And Mike with his HoD sign was just the funniest. I think they are right British sense of humour. I was laughing.

Does it all feel a bit scripted just recently? There’s a lot of smirking, like they’re awkward (and bad) actors who know what’s coming but feel embarrassed. It’s doesn’t seem spontaneous.

I know things are done to make good viewing but the whole Gael and Nathan and now his bad back - I wondered if they got Nathan back, with Gael and their baby coming over, knowing it would only be for a short while to increase the drama. Now he’s hurt his back and might not finish the season. It all feels more contrived than usual (but it's still one of my favourite things to watch - I love the food, scenery, themes, raucous nights out etc, and dream of a holiday like it! Pure escapism)

The Nathan/Gael thing just doesn’t make sense therefore it must have been planned.
what would have made more sense is for Nathan to have returned late to the boat having dropped Gael at the airport to return to Aus and her support network. They must be spending their tip money and more keeping her installed in the apartment.
Or for Nathan and Gael to do alternate charters - one on, one off (demoting Nathan). Now that’s 50/50 parenting.
I wonder if Max has continued his spiritual journey from last season - Gen will get into that (and more) with him I’m sure.

This season is definitely feeling more scripted/set up. I just saw that article, and also someone (a woman) effectively defending him saying gael was a narc...i mean...what can you say 🙄😡

I have wondered about Joe's turn around, is he really this amazing or is he just getting a cracking edit? cooper seems a lot happier, wondering if max will just tow the line or if he will side with nathan as that really will throw the crap at the fan.

Thought the guests were typically classless, asking for fancy bit really just more suited to their requests of fried fish and 🍔

Finding the Nathan /Gael thing quite hard to follow as it's so reminiscent of what I went through . He showed his temper enough times on the boat.

I would get persuaded to follow ex abroad with our baby (he did a job with some parallels) and then he would work and drink and I would be entirely alone. It made me very resilient in the long run though. They talk the good talk before you go and then just don't deliver.

The Guests were awful this week. It's so cringe to watch. Do you think they do it the sort of "any publicity is good publicity" way of thinking? In the hope of a social media following? I can't believe so many people really behave that appallingly in real life !

Max surely can’t believe Sandy would allow Joe to be demoted from lead deckhand after covering Bosun for two charters.

Max certainly has a huge dilemma to think about. Hopefully he will take Sandy’s advice and contact the embassy asap. Max is clearly very distressed about the situation, which is upsetting to see

Back to the previous guests to keep it light - they were a bit… classless. Maybe they took the personal chef bit to the nth degree but if you have ever cooked, you know you’re not going to get the best food if you order 6 different main dishes from one kitchen with one chef

I'm not shocked at all. We saw he had a temper with colleagues.

I am starting to feel sorry for Gen - I think she's getting a bad edit. It's not nice for Luke to send Joy flowers, and I am disappointed that Joy is still engaging with Luke after his fuckboy behaviour. I wouldn't want Gen as a colleague though.

I don’t quite know what to think of Gen other than she’s desperate, I get that she felt badly let down by Luke and I can understand how humiliated she felt when Joy received the flowers but Luke wasn’t to know that she would take delivery of them. And to then text Luke and finish her first text with ‘you won’t hear from me again’ and then to keep texting him 🙄
Nathan is really letting his personal feelings get in the way of his professionalism, I’m glad Sandy sees through it and has called him out on it.
This weeks guests seem really nice, Joy is managing carb only lady very well.

I thought it was very mean spirited of Green to put Joy’s clothes in with the rags, and to label the machine. My OH said that people should be careful about annoying the person who cooks their meals! Joy does make some incredible meals for the guests though. Gen should really stop texting Luke. They must know that their behaviour will be shown in the show. I wonder if they will have a reunion show afterwards. I look forward to that!
The Joe/Nathan feud is getting in my nerves, especially knowing what we now know about Nathan’s behaviour towards Gael. I dislike both of them now.

Things like the clothes in with the rags and the 6 hour anchor watch are so unhinged that I really want to believe the production crew came up with these ideas. But maybe people really are that awful ...

Claiming the clothes with the rags was a mistake when she had the post it with the 'smiley face' on it...oh do fuck off love! To be bleating on about how awful it is for Joy to be happying on with Luke and yet Kat is ok to be making smutty/suggesting remarks to Cooper who was (still is?) with Kat...pffff....

I get the clothes with the rags was disrespectful but I wash my clothes with my kitchen clothes & tea towels all the time & they all come out fine

I can’t believe that about Nathan. I used to like him in the beginning. I feel so sorry for poor Gael and the baby. He should be sent to prison. I am so glad that Bravo fired him. He was very aggressive to Joe on the show. Joe wasn’t perfect either and he was a back stabber he didn’t deserve the way that Nathan spoke to him. I think Joe has got big headed and l hope he leaves the show too.

I reckon Joe will be back as Bosun for the next Med season!

I’ve never been a fan of Joe, I’ve always thought he’s quite up himself and a player, he’s smug and stirs shit. I thought what he did at the table on the crew night out was a shitty thing to do and was inviting trouble. I just think it was a shame that Gael rose to it in the minibus back.
And why did Nathan take Gael on the crew night out? Why did they not have a quiet night just the two of them? I get that maybe Gael may have been alright going out with the crew but surely knowing the friction between Nathan, Joe and herself, it would have been better for them to have had dinner out on their own, it was asking for trouble.
The guests were nice this week and I really felt for the one who broke her shoulder, she would need all sorts of help on her trip home. They gave a decent tip as well.
