80s Johnny can't bring himself to use the money because of his loathing of (whatever his name was). But if that is the case he should shut down the business, because without the investment there IS no business.

They always rock up to hospital and find the person straight away too. Most London ones are huge and people can get lost , but EE people can sniff out the room and be back home by tea time. In Nic’s defence she was in there a while herself, but Eddie wouldn’t be near the maternity bit.
Most places near me you can’t get parked either ! Not easily anyway. I know it’s not real life.
At least Nicola had a parking ticket for the car .. but only for plot purposes to be found later on.

Oh I see , he can’t use the money. He was in fear of going under at one point without the investment wasn’t he , so most people would use it to make some more and maybe pay him back ( if he feels that bad about it )

I don't think sausage feels bad and wants to pay the money back. He feels the money is dirty because he slept with Timmy to get the money. So now he is going to sit on the money indefinitely, madness, he should put it into the business, that way he isn't spending it, and eventually if he makes it back in profit he could donate the amount to a walford charity for those who have fallen for blackmail

Good idea with the charity money. I suppose that they don’t always think logically do they.
I hope Denise can find an investor as well.

I don't mind that they all end up in the same hospital room, in some sort of relay race, nor that they all go to the same prison etc. What I do mind is the character inconsistencies, and the laughably unbelievable plots I.e Louie the blackmailer, and Jasmine.

Louie the blackmailer with Zicki was a low.
He seems a nice boy most of the time , hardly a Joel type. He did want the money for Jimmy , but the nursery fees haven’t been mentioned at all since , so I assume Lauren is selling cars now like hot cakes ( hot cars ?) and can afford it. Pet ahh is doing the PT work on the side , but it still must be a stretch.

I agree with you that is exactly what he should do. But he has decided he now has morals and ethics so he'll let Linda pour her money down his drain instead. He seems like a useless businessman!

Johnny probably is useless. He lost his old job by being stupid and now trying to go it alone , but that is hard unless you know what you’re doing.
George’s new business isn’t doing well and Nicola is having problems too ( probably because of Harry giving it away to Gina )
The only one doing ok is Phil it seems and he is retired and the Vic seems to run itself.
Linda is now pulling out the salon , but the b and b always seems busy and I didn’t think that would last.
Ian has a few on the go that seem ok, although you never see the pie shop only chippy.

Kat sold the cab business to Harvey didn't she, when she bought the Vic? Harvey never ever seems to do any work though!

Ian does seem to have his head screwed on with the businesses, if not in his personal life!

I thought it was because he was coerced into having sex by him? 🤷🏻‍♀️

But it's a bit late to decide it's dirty money. The time to decide that was before rather than after.

where’s baby ivy whilst George is at the hospital and Nicola at the bar… honestly they just don’t think lol

I do remember Ian giving Kathy some paperwork about the cabs and the launderette once and she said I’ll have to check that with a fine tooth comb! She thought he may try it on !
I think Harvey has the cabs and limo business ( or he did once ) but I thought Kathy was involved as well?
Grant called it Kats cabs last week, but we never see Harvey there do we.

Are Johnny and Callum still together after all that blackmail business with Tim? I can't remember if they got back together again after they split up 🤔

He won’t change the will and the few thou he does have will end up elsewhere I bet. Nicola is being played as she is desperate.

Love Sam so much , she used to be a pain , but she’s one of the better ones in it now.

I couldn’t actually watch Linda and Grant. I did find her sniping at Max and Cindy funny though.
Same birthday, but they didn’t say their ages.

Eddie knows money talks with Nicola. Anyway it all obviously works out ok because her and George looked cosy in the flash forward.
George is a liability, not a catch at all

‘ ohhh.. I can’t leave baby Ivy , she needs me, I need to pump, no sleep’ .. next shot Nicola is in the club office and off again to see Eddie in hospital at a moments notice . Leaving Ivy with her dad I suppose who will soon have his dying adopted dad living there as well as a business that’s already on its uppers and a tiny newborn to look after. Eddie isnt that rich I bet. Who’d be a soap character eh!

Nicola will probably kill him off once his changed the will ( let’s see Ritchie again or maybe Johnny at the cafe can do wills ? ..) and she’ll get away with it because his already on his way out.
I really can’t see him having so much money , but maybe his house is worth a bit.
It’ll either go pear shaped or be alright I suppose! Nicola finds a way

Yep, George is a liability isn’t he !
His a good dad. The rest he’ll have to leave to Nicola and possibly Gina and Harry to work out.
Maybe a business too far.
