Max’s flat NYD looked very cosy and lots of things around.

I read today that the drug ring boss is making an appearance soon, Mark owes him money, Grant tries to fix it, Vicky gets a visit and threatened buuuuut….

Max has history with them.

I also read that Bea tries to kill Billy when her identity fraud is revealed.

Oh that’s right! Vicki is going to be threatened by the heavies isn’t she. Mark still owes them money.

Well, Mark is around NYD and Max waves at him, so we know he survives.

Ofcourse… but they’re weaving the web. 😏

Yes. If Max knows the crew that are after Mark and Vicki ( by default) then he may have to power to stop it all. Hence being stitched up NYD.
Especially if Lauren and mark start an affair.

I read a magazine earlier which had a spoiler for next week. Honey finds out about the identity fraud. Bea buys Ian/Brian votes with a dodgy card, I didn't realise votes could be brought! Anyway Bea has no boyfriend, no home, and causes merry hell

I also read that Honey is getting demands about the card and thinks she’s been the victim of credit card fraud or cloning. Which you would do!
I assume that Bea hasn’t even paid the minimum. Which would have kept the wolf from the door a bit.

Looks like there’ll be an exit next week or the week after for Bea / Ronni Ancona. I wonder what happens after that with Elaine and Ian.

Why the heck is Eddie in Walford General hospital? He’d be taken to the nearest hospital to the jail.

Why is Linda selling her livelihood when Johnny has access to money. If he doesn’t want to use it, that’s his funeral. Johnny was once a good character, now he’s a PITA.

It's interesting that Grant (Grant! of all people) is giving Linda advice, telling her to give Johnny money whatever the cost to herself because, yknow, famerlee. And he has a son who owes £100k to drug dealers, so... okay Grant, hope you are going to stump up for that!

I like the idea of E’laine and Ian being friends. Please don’t put them together romantically!
Ian wins the vote apparently.

Does Grant have 100,000 k ?

Seems unlikely 80s but I hope he makes some effort to open his wallet

1000% agree with all this. Ridiculous really!

They are always in their own room in hospital.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen any of them on a normal ward. I guess Eddie is in ICU, but it is always their own room regardless! Walford hospital must be the best funded trust in London.

No great loss if Billy goes! I’ve seen the actor around Muswell Hill btw, he lives locally. Or he did.

Billy hasn’t had his own story for a long time.
He is just one who hangs around other people’s stories or brought in to have a pop at Phil now and again.

I’m finding all this Ian/Eeeelaine election story reallly boring

I like the election story, but they have done it before with Pat and Peggy up against each other.
Ian is in his element isn’t he , or was before they sabotaged his speech !

I suppose it's topical (although boring) but I think it was mainly designed to bring Elaine and Ian into each other's orbits. I hope they are not going to get together, they are good as friends.

I think the jail must be really near to Walford because it doesn’t seem to take them long to go a visit people, and they always get on the visitor list really quickly.

The hospital is close by I always thought , but when Priya took Ravi last week it seemed a bit of drive away.
They get back and forth to prison fairly quickly as well , but they are on decent train links and so on where they live. It can be a mystery how they get around so fast though.

Is Nugget still on dialysis? As well as being on the epilepsy medication thanks to Ravi ( and Nicola )
Although they are all having time out at the moment.

Any idea why Johnny can’t use the money he got from the other man ( whose name I can’t remember)
It was an investment I thought? Max saw him off and Johnny said it was in his account ages ago.
You can’t really do legal things in a greasy cafe , it’s not really that professional is it ! Although I am unsure what Johnny specializes in , is it employment law or property law ?

But Eddie never lived in Walford so there is no reason he'd be in either the jail or hospital there.

Anyway, yeh, this is EastEnders...!
