He hid while Jay's dad was beaten to death, he rejected Janet because she had Downs Syndrome, he was awful to Phil when he was depressed and suicidal.

He didn't reject Janet, Honey did, he accepted her diagnosis pretty well .

I don't understand how Honey could listen to Bea. She knows what Bea is capable of.

I thought this too - although the evidence is pretty convincing, esp the voicenote. Altho I'd prob have gone into gaslighting mode and told Honey that she knows him well enough to know he wouldn't be doing those things- esp the dating app, which you'd never use your real name in a million years if you were up to no good

Also, does anyone actually like Bea as a character? I thought Ronni Ancona would be a great addition, but I hate the way she's so hammy. Usually baddies are likeable in some way, or we feel sympathetic in a tiny way, or we enjoy watching them, but she's just awful as a character

No can’t stand her. She’s a great impressionist but the character of Bea is just gratingly over acted and no way would Honey fall for all the manipulation and lies. Or maybe she would…
