No, it's not zero tolerance, but it'd be a risk to have even one measure before driving.
There are calls for it to be zero, but the risks of that include things like prescription medicines can give a small reading, as can fermented foods etc.
The biggest risk is if you're driving the next morning

Similar to Ian's situation. A pint is 3 ish units, but can be higher in some cases. And then an empty stomach/height/weight can also affect it.

So, in Scotland, the limit is around two thirds than that of England. So, while you'd probably be ok with eg a single G&T, you'd have to be sure that the pub measure wasn't more generous, and whether you've then eaten etc too. It's too risky to gamble, really. It’s not zero, it can’t be due to traces of alcohol being in other things. There has to be a reasonable allowance. It is supposed to mean no drink driving at all as one drink would put you over.

The food poisoning was horrible. Everyone being sick and sweating everywhere. Really gross.
When Alfie ate the prawns I felt ill myself.
