Yeah I didn't mean to provoke a debate. Just kinda don't quite get the hate myself. Other than the way he talks about them like they're something nice he's ordered online like a new handbag.

It human trafficking, basically. You can't take kittens, pups or even pet rabbits away from their mums until they are 8 weeks old, but we can human babies. I'm sure he'll make an amazing dad, but wish he adopted instead of shopped.

BTW, I loved Mel Schilling on last nights show, she told Tiny Tate off for talking over Alessandra and I teared up when she comforted Steph. :-(

It's not hate. It's so problematic and I hate the way it gets normalised on shows like this. I went to a course about surrogacy a few years ago and it was a real eye opener. Issues like babies being abandoned by the surrogate parents if they were born with disabilities, exploitation of v poor women, the detrimental effect on the babies of being separated from their birth mother at such a young age and how the children themselves feel about it. None of it was good. Let alone the lack of checks on the parents as to how suitable they would be as parents, unlike the adoption process which is very thorough.
