Problem is that even if they pass the assessment (if there is one), there is no way to know how they will behave when they are drunk/on drugs. Seems like there is unlimited amount of alcohol at the dinner parties and then the nastiness is so much worse.

The new baby is not going to get the time and attention it needs if he is focusing on building a romantic relationship with his partner and his new relationship is not going to thrive if he focusing on getting to know and care for a tiny baby.

Yeh its crazy! Having a new relationship on the arrival of a newborn is insane - least of all two. Something - or both - will suffer. Shouldn't be allowed really. I can't imagine the lesbian mums are happy about this.

I found it very unrealistic that no one was standing up to Bec during her drunken rants, especially the new couples.
Wouldn’t you just tell her to mind her own business and refuse to engage with her nonsense?
Letting her take over an entire dinner party like that must surely have been a production directive?
