I've only seen this thread now having watched a couple of episodes with a friend.
Does nobody realise that it's all staged?
Like that girl Mel suddenly changing her ways from being comotose to being totally engaged? Like she hadn't been told to behave like a statue?
And all those 'mean girls' ? As if they hadn't been told to act like that and the 'victim' wasn't aware that they were going to do that.

I disagree. I think she's standing up to him very well. Her very pointed questions at the wedding hit the mark. And the preview from tonight's show very clearly showed her taking none of his shit. I think she'll be gone. There's no turning around that kind of misogyny.

Just on the flowers, I really dislike the 'floppy' bouquets, wobbling all over as they walk down the aisle.

I think the other wedding flowers are not real but silk etc,

I think it's manipulated rather than "staged". It's certainly not simply fly on the wall, but I don't believe it's scripted. The bullying characteristics belong to the individuals not the production team etc.

The biggest complaint from past participants seems to be the editing. That's another massive manipulation on the part of the production team.

Eh it probably is staged a bit but eg Brook saying some of what she said and Gia too, they don’t necessarily have to be that nasty.

I thought the same. Haven't seen all of last night's yet, only the new brides' and grooms' intros, but OMG Tyson is going to be intolerable to watch. I'm hoping he crosses a line and gets kicked out.

Joel is absolutely stunted by his DM. It was shocking and sad, her speech was disgusting, a complete turn off for any woman, she’s a weird psychologist who needs serious therapy.
