I agree young people aren't going to be interested in EastEnders. And Jasmine certainly isn't going to lure them in!

I have no idea what they are doing with Zoe now. She spent months going on about MySon yet now he's here she has barely had any screentime with Josh. And she did barely anything during the trial other than some pained facial expressions, if she hadn't been there it would have made no difference! I suppose they have realised Michelle Ryan is a poor actress so are focussing on Kat.

Did anyone see the words ‘ sex shed’ and think of Alan Partridge ( I heard it in his voice !)
If they showed people growing some spuds or raspberries it wouid be something, but we know they won’t.
Bored of Jasmine too. Everyone is. Yet here she is and Nanny Kat has taken her on.
Zoe did try ( once) with myson , but he shut her down. No wonder she is being distant , but who can really tell ? She looks as bored with it all as we are..

Family values from Ian Beale. Mind you , all politicians and ( probably) counselors bend the truth, so it’s not surprising he is trying to be something he isn’t and Jane loved him once tbf. E’ laine’s pitch was better. I feel for Linda as she loves her Johnny and he is being unreasonable.

The budding friendship between Ian and Elaine cooled off quickly, didn’t it?! 😂

I am pretty fed up with them always falling back on the same tired old pregnancy stories. It’s almost always a one night stand - but immediately pregnant! - there’s usually some “who’s the father?” drama, and apparently nobody ever uses birth control. It’s all been done so many times before, it’s just so lazy.

Zoe has tried with Josh but she felt pushed out/jealous as he is bonding with grandad Patrick and seems to prefer spending time with the Truemans. And now Denise has given him a job. I think in his shoes I would find the Slaters too overwhelming and dramatic. When Jean was showing him the huge Slater family tree he just looked like wtf is this😂

They can add as many teens dressed in iets frans as they want, but it won't get teens watching. Most I know only watch YouTube, sports, and the occasional reality or celebrity show.
They are more likely to run the risk of losing viewers.

They tried it with that E20 thing didn't they? That didn't last long.

It’s ok. They did a good storyline about a girl walking home from a night out and I think being attacked which really raised awareness of this. Important. Didn’t blame the woman whatsoever.

And it's always a very premature baby too. Nobody ever just gives birth in a hospital and on time.

I think it's good they are trying to attract younger viewers, but they should have been doing this years ago. Not many relatable 30/40 somethings in the show. There is a lot of young love trianglery going on. Everyone is shagging each other. Someone needs a hot tub. Maybe Kat can put one on the roof of the Vic, but it will somehow end up falling off one Christmas with people in it.

love the idea of a ‘ Vic tub ‘ ! Kat could charge to participate and have use of it.
Ian had one once in his back yard.

Or.. the men from the sex shed could have a whip round for a hot tub at the allotments ! .. ( where’s the brain bleach gone ?)

Pass me a pint of brainbleach, no-one needs to see Harvey and Billy in a hot tub.

Wasn't it Jack that had a hot tub in his garden? Amy had a party where no-one seemed to actually get in it!
