Mark made a comment about Lauren once , but so far his stayed away from any love action.
Someone on here said he might be gay , but I don’t think he is .. Not many women around though are there.
Chelsea is single and not a relative , but she isn’t in it that much and is in the possible bride zone. Not that this means much .

I do think she killed Antnee. Not sure about killed foster dad, would be manslaughter anyway if proved.

She will get off though. Or a very short sentence, why?!

I know you all hate Bea but if she married Ian she could do a number on him like Stella, Cindy. But Ian is too cynical to marry again. I think. And the comedian actress Roni Ancona has left now.

Yes, Chelsea is one of the bride candidates NYD.
Those leaflets Ian did were in poor taste. I’m no fan of Jasmine, but that was low.

Guilty or not guilty?!

Not guilty (which we already knew from the spoilers).

Her face when the verdict was read is hilarious. She really CANNOT act. 😂

Today’s episode in general and the ending felt ominous in the sense that I have a horrible feeling Jasmine is going to be big part of the show for a while. I can see the love triangle crap going on for months.

How was this all done so quickly? A murder case that goes to trial usually takes minimum of 6-12 mths for the trial to start.

I agree with a PP that it’s Jasmine with the gun in the flash forward and she’s the one holding Lauren and Oscar hostage. I cannot bear the thought of her being around for another year.

She was only arrested in February yet they have built the case, got all the reports and she has been tried for murder and the verdict delivered in 48 hours.

We are back to terrible pacing where storylines go round in circles for months then crash to a sudden halt.

I think it will be her with the gun, and I think that will be her exit. She will probably have killed Sandra by then too. She isn't a character they can keep around longer term.

I do feel sorry for the character though as have known a couple of adults who were kids in care. Not excusing what Jasmine did or didn’t do and her behaviour.

Nicola is turning into a big softie nice to see. Her with Nigel and Julie (I miss her now!) was lovely to see. Should show more of that, older people in homes being visited.

Have to agree with you re plot line but would they make it this obvious? Most of us have guessed this scenario.

and we can all see how Zicki and Joel will go but Joel is a very good actor so maybe he’ll be offski soon. Hope not.

We had all guessed Jasmine was Zoe's daughter within a fortnight and yet they dragged it out till Christmas like it was going to be a big surprise. So yes, they would definitely make it that obvious!

Today's episode was really poor. Far too much Jasmine, trying to force different expressions and failing. I don't believe the 'poor little girl' sob story, she looked way too excited when she was describing Keith's death (although of course it is very hard to tell what she is trying to express).

I hope Sandra stays in Southend and doesn't stand at the top of any staircases...

Who picked up the leaflet in Ian’s hall about Jasmine? That was a bit mysterious.
He did have a nerve, his own Mum helped to cover up Keanu’s demise and bury him under her cafe once yet his moralizing around crime in the area!
Not seen it today , but I assume she is out now.

Yeah I’d like to believe the sob story but this is Jasmine we are talking about. 😬🙄😳

Ian was hilarious. 5 wives. Just one less than Henry VIII. Glad he was caught out.

The actress is poor. Storyline not bad though. How many actresses did they see at casting? Surely there’s one better than this one…

Dawn Steele was the best thing about today’s episode.

So the powers that be are leaving the door open for Max Murray (Joel) to return in the autumn now that Vicky’s warming up to the idea of Joel living with them again as long as he’s changed. In real life she’d never want anything to do with the person who brutally attacked her and left her for dead and Joel and Ross would go off and live together, but almost anything goes in EE.

Apparently so yeah. So far removed from real life.

Seems we are stuck with Jasmine and I can’t help thinking that having teens in a love triangle is just a ploy to try to attract younger viewers. I doubt it’ll work. Most people I know who are younger than me don’t watch it or any of the soaps.

DD (12) recognises the theme tune of EE and says “oh mum’s watching her depressing programme now” whenever I put it on iPlayer😂.

I doubt younger people watch any soaps tbh as there’s so much competing content out there for them on streaming platforms etc. I told DD when I was her age we had four TV channels and kids TV was a few hours after school plus Saturday mornings. She still doesn’t believe me!

I enjoyed Nic leaning into the Sharon Stone thing, and showing a softer side, but by christ I am bored with Jasmjne.

I thought when Ian was trying to remember all his wives, it was like the saying 'divorced, beheaded, died...' to remember the order of Henry VIII's wives!

I'd forgotten about Sausage until he appeared today.
