It was the same with Stacey and Arthur and Martin. Kush had a heart defect and so did Arthur, so she then discovered that he was his dad.

And the Zack/Barney thing came out over blood types re hospital treatment.

So Bea is now using AI to impersonate Billy’s voice so I’m thinking her goal is to split billy and honey an move in permanent to “take care of” of honey

I think she's going to AI Billy confessing to another affair to do just that.

Did I imagine that Albie accidentally drank a load of calpol? Then they found this gene?

And then Arthur started looking quite Asian in ethnicity!

Yes to Elaine and Ian getting it on!

And, how utterly CRINGE was that scene with Vicki and Ross shagging at the allotment and all the blokes knowing (watching/listening?!) 🤢 Just no.

I cannot stand the Ian and Elaine shenanigans, it's so farcical.

I haven't watched today's episode yet and judging by the comments I'm not sure I want to!

It’s a bit cringe but funnily enough Elaine and Ian getting it on is quite amusing.

At least I am now warned about it, thank you😆

Why was Harry talking about having sex with Penny with HIS MOTHER!?!!? Seriously

Plot reasons as to why he mentioned his one night stand with Penny to Nicola and how Gina ( who is only mid 20s or something?) doesn’t want children! I mean , we all say that at least once don’t we lol , Harry seems to think it’s set in stone ! It’s Albert square where women fall pregnant fairly easily as well

It was very clunky wasn't it. First of all Penny has a conversation about baby scans with Nic, who she has barely spoken to previously. Five minutes later Harry is burbling about Gina not wanting kids and having shagged Penny in December.
4/10 for scriptwriting.

The Penny and Nic chat at least made a bit of sense as they're both pregnant and were in the hospital at the same time, so I could see that sort of happening, from Nic's side at least. Why Penny would engage though is a bit beyond me.

The Harry and Nic chat not so much.

The writers have to come up with ingenuous ways of making it seem real .. but occasionally it just means more poetic licence with certain situations and conversations! All at a convenient time!

Yep, suspension of disbelief is essential when watching EE!

The 'both in hospital at the same time' was all part of the clunky storylining 😆
But I agree the worst bit was Penny musing away to Nic when there was a possibility Harry might be the dad. Speaking of which, why hasn't she mentioned to Nic that they used contraception.

Some of the current storylines are annoying me.

The sooner they conclude the Unhinged Bea storyline the better. It’s just so unnecessary, and like the writers cobbled it together last minute to somehow wedge Ronni Ancona into the programme.

Icky Zicki and <urgh> Vicki & Ross shagging. Just make all of it stop!

Weird that Harry & Gina now share a sibling.

I also have a sinking feeling that Jasmine will be set free and there will be a longwinded Jasmine-Josh-Oscar love triangle with poor Oscar stuck between the two wooden drama school kids for months.

But on a brighter note, Nicola and Penny are good characters. I like the idea of Ian and Elaine . More Cindy and Max, please!

So many things are annoying me at the moment.

The whole Zicki thing is just bleurgh and so contrived. They are decent actors but it's almost like they can't believe Zack & Vicki would be attracted to each other either 😂

Sooo convenient that Bea happened to (not at all subtly) overhear Denise talking to Josh about Patrick and the AI app. I like Ronni Ancona but Bea needs to just piss off.

On the other hand, Nicola and Penny are great and making it worth watching, so I'll persevere!

Not keen on the name Ivy, but brilliant acting by George and her.
it was very believable.

Bea is getting out of control now. Ian and E laine wasn’t too bad , but Zicki just no ! Strange the random other men were there too !

That's interesting, I thought George, Nic and Harry were pretty mediocre this evening!

Ian and Elaine are good actors and I enjoyed their scenes today. A bit less hammy than previously!

Josh and Oscar were the highlight again though. I am dreading the cold water being poured on them by Jasmine shortly.

Bea, nope, couldn't care less.

Vicki and Ross shagging and the all the men coming out and laughing was revolting. What the actual fuck are they doing with Bea.

Did anyone else think the way George said "Ivy" was interesting? Almost making a point that this is not baby Ethan?

No. My interpretation was that he had decided Nicola would get the baby name she had wanted for their daughter. It was a nice touch imho.

Agree, he saw she was in distress and went with her view, which was good, it gave her a small element of control back.

Yes I agree George was naming her Ivy according to Nicola's wishes.

The Vicki and Ross shagging was completely bizarre.

I hope they don't make Ian and Elaine a couple, I would prefer to see them as good friends, although this rarely happens in EE.

It only took one night of Zack living with Vicki before they are exchanging lingering looks over a sticking plaster 🙄.
