The American version is terrible, so I don’t have high hopes for the UK one, its also a shame their first host is a known racist.

I thought I’d give it a go but so far it’s pretty bad.
Graham Norton looked embarrassed to be involved at the start.
I smiled a little bit at the Underage sketch but that was it.

I’ve had to turn over, it’s awful. I’m fondly remembering the Ben Elton version of the 1980s.

They're really wringing the jokes for far more than they're worth. My shoulders are creeping towards my ears, it's quite embarrassing.

Why is every sketch 10 years long?

I really like the US version. With the UK one, I went into it with very low expectations. Enjoyed a few sketches, some were awful. I’ll watch again next week.

I heard about this and thought about watching but we don’t have Sky. I don’t know many people who do have it either

The trouble is what made SNL great all those years ago would not be allowed today. Actually, not that long ago 😀 Black Jeopardy and meet your second wife off the top of my head but there are many many more. Again, they might not have landed properly in the Uk

Some things raised a smile but other things were just confusing and I wasn't really sure what was going on!

I enjoyed the opening No 10 skit & Tina Fey at the start but not much else. The Underage skit was weird as was much of the rest of it!!

I usually watch the US one on a Sunday but since that’s off for a few weeks I decided to give this a go

But for the love of god the sketches need to be trimmed. We aren't Americans.

I suspect Jack Shep will break out very quickly.
