Loose Women - Nadia Sawalha??

Whattodo1610 · 19/02/2026 13:01

just put the tv on, rarely watch daytime, but have caught it now and again, what has Nadia done? She looks so plastic, made up, falsely young. She used to look very natural, her age, lovely. This new look doesn’t suit her or do her justice at all. I assume it’s for tv, I find it really sad we still can’t just age gracefully and that be acceptable for tv.

"what has Nadia done? She looks so plastic" pot & kettle @Whattodo1610?

CandiedPrincess · 19/02/2026 13:10

You okay hun?

Are you watching the same show as me? She looks perfectly normal and age appropriate.

Love to see what you look like!

You have no idea what I look like, so your pot and kettle reference is ridiculous.

I didn’t say I didn’t understand your comment. I asked what the point of it was. There’s a difference. No hope for you it seems.

If you understood the point you wouldn't have asked me what the point was?

Are you quite ok?

Perfectly fine thanks. She looks completely different compared to when she was on a few years ago. As I said, it’s sad that those on tv can’t age naturally and still keep their jobs/prime spots etc.

There is an irony to the opening post. I'm sure critical comments and opinions from strangers commenting on someone's appearance make the pressure on ageing worse.

The sooner we stop commenting on others' appearance the better society will be.

theressomanytinafeysicouldbe · 19/02/2026 13:17

I noticed she looked different the other day, Coleen looked different too

Whattodo1610 · 19/02/2026 13:19

So not sure how many times I need to say, it’s sad women can’t age naturally and still be on tv.

I’ll just ignore the silly viper comments.

DysmalRadius · 19/02/2026 13:30

But one of the reasons that can't is because people feel compelled to comment on how they look and how they're aging etc. 🤷

Pepperedpickles · 19/02/2026 13:33

I think she looks lovely! I really like her curly mullet type hairstyle she has now. I guess we’re all different but I think it’s a bit mean to start a post moaning about the way a woman looks - it’s all subjective.

BUT...... it was you who started a thread expressly criticizing another woman @Whattodo1610 so you are in fact part of the problem that normalizes comment about how women look, do you not see that?

Your open post states "She looks so plastic, made up, falsely young" fgs!!

Glitchymn1 · 19/02/2026 13:35

Is it her new curly wolf hair cut as they’re calling it. I don’t really like it, I liked her full curls. It’s worth noting she suffers with eczema and facial swelling, she’s been open about it. I think she looks natural and lovely.

Yes her hair is definitely different, I too loved her full curls, she has amazing hair. I almost didn’t recognise her at first as she looks so different to the last time I saw her. It made me think that if the change is to look younger for tv purposes, then that’s really sad.

wondering who the MN moderator is today 🤔 not difficult to guess really, is it?

CandiedPrincess · 19/02/2026 20:54

Blimey the mod is a bit over zealous on this thread 😂

TurtleAteMyHomework · 19/02/2026 20:58

The real issue is, why is there so much pressure on women to look younger than they are in order to keep their jobs in television? Or indeed, just exist in the world.
