Anyone watching Being Gordon Ramsay

It’s sort of cemented my opinion of him. I really do not know how his wife puts up with him and Adam Peaty looks like a bit of a hanger on.

I watched this this evening. It all seemed very very carefully orchestrated , with all the women so determined to remind us that Gordon is completely different at home to what we have seen on tv previously. It could be true 🤷‍♀️.
I felt a bit sad for the Brummie site manager. It would have at least made good tv for Gordon to sit with him and cook him a steak in the new restaurant as a way to thank him for his work. Instead he kind of wandered around the restaurant on completion with a load of robotic gen z waiters unable to even acknowledge his existence . I know Gordon recorded a little platitude saying he was a genius, but it seemed pathetic given that he’d made such a big massive show of flying out to every restaurant he owns to meet the staff etc, as we saw in Manila.

I didn't know that , is it common knowledge ?
I'm not a fan .

I've recorded it and will watch it later, each morning in bed, with a Bombay Badboy pot noodle and chapati soldiers. Yum.

A decent person who lead a double life, lied to and cheated on his wife for many years and effectively did the same to his children. Seen these men before. Hugely charismatic, excellent leaders, great at creating a persona, rich and powerful but selfish and entitled behind closed doors. Hard pass from me.

it’s his word vs the word of the woman who alleged the 7 year affair. I’ve read interviews the alleged affair partner has given and she’s not the most compelling. I wonder how much she was paid for her latest interview this weekend?

Eh? Adam’s family have come across as completely batshit after selling their stories to the press. The whole situation seems very sad though.

I don’t really understand how/why Adam’s head has been turned so much by Holly as she seems completely vacuous but I assume she must have something about her (other than a wealthy, famous father)?

I like Gordon (have met him a couple of times) but I certainly wouldn’t want to live with him or marry him. I would like the name of the interior designer who did their house though! 😛 He’s done very well for himself given his background and clearly had to make huge sacrifices to get to where he is as well as have immense drive as well as talent. Years ago I ate at Royal Hospital Road when he was cooking (he came out after and talked to diners) and it was the best food I’ve ever eaten in my life. By a long way.

I thought he came accross well. Hes obviously very driven. He seems very loyal to the people who helped him on the way up. Children are delightful. I dont think AP is a great catch. His little lad mustve only been three. I think that daughter struggled with her MH. I wonder if the other one will finish her world class training? I can see how the son ended up in the marines. I found them much more interesting than their friends the Beckhams.

I can’t actually get over this. Apparently he said it in his speech at the wedding too. So inappropriate. I’m amazed more people haven’t commented on it.

He just reminds me of those cocksure men who need their bottomless egos feeding constantly. Tana looks like a shell of a woman who has sold her soul. Fair play to her for the kids though - they seem really normal and nice.
