I missed it when first out and as on Netflix and had got good reviews I thought I'd give it a go.

I've stuck with it so far as it is interesting and gripping in parts but I'm finding loose cannon Carrie increasingly annoying. She'd have been sacked after the first reckless ignoring orders incident but just does it again and again.

Love Saul, but again totally implausible that he didn't know a Mossad operative was shagging his wife. None of them have even the most basic of security monitoring in their homes.

So. On series 3 more to see what happens to Brody and if Carrie gets out of Iran (why on earth send a well known cia operative to the very place Brody is trying to convince them he wants asylum!).

Just wondering does it get better with later series or is it the crying, reckless Carrie show on repeat?

Mandy Patinkin is wonderful in Homeland and he’s also a truly lovely man. Did you see the video of him singing somewhere over the rainbow at Mamdani’s inauguration? Beautiful.

Ive watched the full series twice, once on my own and then when my OH decided it was time.

Id happily do it all again in the next few years. Maybe next winter when the days draw in i'll set back on it.

It is gripping isn't it. Every scene, every character, there's so much going on.

Couldn't believe how baby Franny looked exactly like a miniature Brody, it was uncanny.
