Oh I am so excited for this! Intrigued to see where they will go. Seb and Dom are only in Polo aren't they? And they seem to be introducing some brand new characters too. Just keep it joyous and Jilly please!

Thanks for posting. I’m annoyed about the two part thing and could this be about money? Disney + wanting us to subscribe again to watch the remaking episodes later in the year.

Yes that’s almost certainly the reason, and many subscription services seem to be doing this now. Surely the number of people actually doing this (one off sign ups to watch a new release) is quite small. Most people will be permanent subscribers.

I can't wait for this, has def given me a new appreciation of Danny Dyer - and I see his holiday park programme is out soon so that should bridge a bit of a DD gap in my life!

I’m reaching series 1 in preparation for series 2. Loving Danny Dyer/Freddie and Katherine Parkinson/Lizzie! But I still can’t get over the casting of Rupert, he is sadly just not attractive enough, it’s not just that he isn’t blonde, he just isn’t good looking (personally), he has the attitude though I suppose. I’m on the scene where is reliving his showjumping wins, and it kinda makes me sick to think about the animal abuse and that it’s not mentioned; although I get why they don’t for TV, or did they? Did I miss it? Anyway, he is a complete A-hole, and I don’t understand why anyone woman fawns over him, I much prefer Declan or Freddie 😆

Heard David Tennant on BBC Radio 2 this morning and he sounded positively overjoyed to be playing Tony again!
Apparently we get to see a lot more of Danny Dyer this season! 😳

SPOILERS FOR 2.6 (although I’m probably the last person to watch it!)

Watched 2.6 last night and still can’t stop thinking about it. That scene with Lizzie and Monica in the kitchen was one of the best things I’ve ever seen on TV. Katherine Parkinson and Claire Rushbrook (ESPECIALLY Claire) should win ALL THE PRIZES!!!

I didn’t know what happened before I watched as I don’t do social media and don’t know anyone watching it IRL, so I was genuinely stunned. As the storm (which I remember in real life) kicked in, I was hoping beyond hope that they didn’t kill off M just as she was stepping out to Live Like Blazes.

I’m really sad that the scriptwriters went down the kill-the-gays route. (I remember this happening in Last Tango in Halifax and being FURIOUS.) I understand why, in theory - Tony’s actions need consequences. But still. It makes me weary.

I love how these characters are all evolving and didn’t expect this show at the outset to be so nuanced and emotionally devastating.
