Who do you want to win The Traitors Final

Love it or loathe it, tonight is the final episode of the current series.

It's been an original series in that there was Secret Traitor from the outset, and there have been no Traitor recruitments in the game.
Up to this point, I have been Team Traitor to win, but if Rachel is banished tonight, I'm switching to Team Faithful.

Who do you want to win?
If Team Faithful, is there any persons in particular you would like to see go home with the £££?

James for the win

I wonder if they have variants of the tasks that they’ll use if necessary. Say for last night’s - make them start halfway (or more) up the hill and tell them half the gold is down and half is up, and they’ll figure out send the fitter people down, and the less fit people have then got the full time (which could also be adjusted to make it less of a sprint for the others) to walk up half the hill with a stop to get some gold.

I also wonder if they thought that task would be easier. I know they do them with production staff to make sure it’s doable etc, but DH pointed out that it was probably set up to basically guarantee that they won and no one got murdered, because they wouldn’t want to just have 4 in the final. But actually it was quite close. If I’d run so much I vomited I’d have just thought “fuck it, just murder me, I’m not carrying on”.
ETA - I actually wonder if they called a sort of medical time out for him. He threw up and was lying on the ground so I wonder if that’s the sort of thing where liability/insurance-wise they sort of have to stop and go “ok we can’t let him just get up and keep sprinting”.

Edited

I very much doubt it. Variants of the tasks. Judging who was fit and who wasn’t. Challenges to that assessment etc.
And making it hard was the part of it.
No, I am afraid in the current format it discriminates against the less mobile, older and less fit. I also doubt it will change.

I always want the traitors to win. However I don’t think Rachel will get through as there’s so much heat on her but I would love Stephen to win-he’s so lovely! I cringe every time Rachel, a grown woman, says ‘my mummy’ or ‘mammy’ and for that reason alone she has to go!

Don't go to Northern Ireland then. It's totally normal there.

EnchantedDaytime · 23/01/2026 12:28

Faraaz for me, he has played the long game, sussed out the Traitors and seems like a lovely bloke. Otherwise Stephen as I really haven’t taken to Rachel and I think being a Traitor has been much harder for Stephen than it has for her. James has started to annoy me and Jade I just don’t think deserves it, although she is obviously very clever.

Frankenpug23 · 23/01/2026 12:33

Team Faraaz and Jack - anyone but Rachel really.

Alpacajigsaw · 23/01/2026 12:33

Faraaz

Rachel had played a good game up until last night. She told Stephen he might hear her talking about him to others. And she snapped at James. She is not proving to be so composed under pressure.

I think putting a player out by chance is a terrible option. Stephen had the chance to get rid of Rachel and blew it. If she stays in he will regret not getting rid of her.

Faraaz is the only player who has identified Rachel by himself. And Stephen.
I do wonder why Jade has been so picked on?

I do hope in the next series the programme is less discriminatory. Nobody old, disabled, or even just not so fit could have undertaken last nights challenge up the hill for the gold. Fiona could not have done it, probably not Harriet, nor Hugo etc. I expect better from the BBC who show the programme. Even James was sick doing it. Why he didn’t remind everyone how hard he had worked so how could he be a Traitor I have no idea.

They may well have adapted the challenge depending on who was still in at the time. E.g in the celeb one, Ruth had a role steering rather than pushing.

I'm another who'd like Rachel and Stephen to somehow clinch a shared win. But with the thing where they have to split or steal (Prisoner's Dilemma, they did this in one series somewhere , apparently)
Or if not, then James.

The others have done naff all, apart from a last-minute effort from Faraaz. Yes, they all seem nice and I'm sure they'd say they've been keeping their heads down and making alliances, but they've not really done much. Or even guessed well.

They did the split or steal thing in Australia. A very unpopular series when it aired I think, and not because of the split/steal (the channel cancelled the show after it, but I think another channel is now bringing it back).

TheGreenBow · 23/01/2026 12:38

I’d like Faraaz to win and as he can’t win on his own, I’d prefer if James won simply as he’s put everything into the game and the other faithfuls who are left appear to have just coasted.

I wanted Rachel and Stephen to win together but that looks unlikely and I don’t think it would be a satisfying end if it’s just Stephen as Rachel put in so much of the work,

ThePoshUns · 23/01/2026 12:39

Faraaz

LizzieSiddal · 23/01/2026 12:50

Anyone but Rachel for me. I liked her at the start but I just think she’s too brutal. She scares me at how good a liar she is. The FBI thing!!

I really like Stephen but think he’ll find it hard to admit to his friends that he’s being a traitor.

Bobbinog · 23/01/2026 12:51

If I had to choose only one, I'd like James to win. I don't mind his chaos and I like his exuberance.
I think if he did win he'd probably explode with excitement 😆

ThereWillBeSigns · 23/01/2026 12:52

Stephen and Rachel - it would be lovely if they won together! Failing that, Stephen on his own is fine.. He's adorable

Agree that Jade is useless and shouldn't be there. Jack too but at least he's not as annoying.

Quite like Faraaz - seems like a nice guy - not sure if I care about him winning though

You’ve forgotten about jack. I think him and Faz have a chance.

The FBI thing is so funny because she was saying about training in reading people blah blah. But she did not clock a mother/daughter, or a boyfriend/girlfriend.
And if I was a faithful I’d be thinking a) the training was clearly useless as she hasn’t caught a traitor (I don’t count Fiona because Fiona did that to herself), and b) it’s very suspicious that someone who announces they’ve had this training wasn’t immediately murdered.

I actually don’t think she’s good at lying. Not notably so. Last night’s episode was basically the first episode where anyone had challenged her, so the first episode where she’d had to lie under pressure. And she got flustered and snappy.

RobinEllacotStrike · 23/01/2026 13:46

Do you thik there are there any other "couples" to expose?

Faraaz & Maz?
Hugo & Jade?
James & Jessie?

WetWetWetWetWet · 23/01/2026 13:48

LittleLlama · 23/01/2026 11:14

Faz and Jade (it will not happen but that is what I would like).

Me too.

Silverbirchleaf · 23/01/2026 14:07

I’d like a Rachel and Stephen win - they’ve played a cracking game. If not Stephen alone.

LauraIpsum · 23/01/2026 14:13

I'm watching tonight actually not minding who wins, much as I did with series 2 (where both Jaz and Harry deserved the win).

If a Traitor takes it, I feel he/she/they have deserved it. It also wouldn't feel like an injustice had been done for any of the remaining Faithful to be kicked out at this stage (Faz a bit though, seeing as he has now worked it out).

I think what may happen is that Rachel, James and Jade will be banished, as there is enough doubt around all three of them. Jack might end up torn between Stephen and Faz at the firepit thing. Jack switching last night from Rachel to James makes me feel he will wobble, but that he'll banish Stephen at the final vote. Jack and Faraaz win!

Advocodo · 23/01/2026 16:58

CloakedInGucci · 23/01/2026 10:33

Normally I find myself rooting for the traitors but this series I’d be happy for anyone but Rachel to win. Which is fine because I think she’s out either way - if James goes first, he’ll say he’s a faithful, and then I think she’s gone next.

Since they can’t all win, and I think James and Jade may also be toast, I’d prefer a Faraaz & Jack victory.

So hope you are right cos that is what I would like too.

SleepQuest33 · 23/01/2026 17:01

I’d like Rachel to win, because she’s been a zing and deserves it! But I doubt it will happen even if she survives last night’s draw.

if not her, then Jack.

OriginalSkang · 23/01/2026 11:26

I really hope Rachel goes out today

Me too!

Whinge · 23/01/2026 17:19

I'm surprised so many people are saying Jack. He's done bugger all.

I appreciate this is a strategy that has kept more than a few faithfuls in, but it makes really shit TV. 😅

I would love Rachel to win, but unfortunately that doesn't seem possible now.

FcukBreastCancer · 23/01/2026 17:23

Anyone but Rachel. Sorry rachel

Flintgranet · 23/01/2026 17:24

Stephen, as he's the only player left who seems personable and interesting.

Honestly, the producers have curated a game in which a player so forgettable that most of us can't remember his name, is one of the most likely to win. He and Faraz are hopelessly dull and blend into the wallpaper. Ditto Jade. James is interesting, though often irritating.

This season has been a huge disappointment. Who picked these people? Fiona and Harriet were straight-up rude and egotistical. If Rachel were a faithful, she'd be as forgettable as Jack/Jake/whatshisname.

Sigh. I honestly don't care who wins, and that's a dreadful place for the final of Traitors to be in.
