The Our Girl Addicts Thread 78 Stay focused, we are now watching Downton Abbey

We are about to watch the final episode in the final series of Downton. Our little gang has previoulsy watched all the series of Our Girl, Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers and Spooks. We dipped a toe into Hustle then moved onto Downton which has kept us occupied in the comings and goings of the Crawley family.

She has a bit of style in real life. She turned up to one of the awards evenings in a super primrose gown with a full-length crinoline-style skirt and NOT revealing yards of flesh.

I do feel for her. This is so rotten.

CJ breaks the news that Elvis isn't coming to his own wedding.

This is so difficult.

Two years pass. I like her in this role as a trainer and she sounds convincing.

Move forward two years and Georgie is training new medics. Heavens, they look so young.

Georgie spots CJ crossing the parade ground.

Molly in Afghan again...conveniently.

2 years gone by..CJ arrives once more with a new venture.lays it on thuck how good a medic she is

"I need a medic"....oh yes he always does.

She hears his voice and deserts her post.

Georgie says yes straight away to the Kenya mission. She has a new chap...and we all like him so much.

CJ and Georgie have a chat. He's off to Kenya and surprise surprise, he wants Georgie to go along as their medic. Molly has been keeping him updated with Georgie's love life.

Oh here is Dr Dull. She made good use of those 2 yrs. I remember thinking she must be hell bent on getting married. Not quite the norm for a dedicated soldier

So if CJ knows about her through social media, how has she managed to avoid all info about Elvis?

After what happened two years before, I think she'd be waiting a lot longer to get married.

She talks it over with Jamie about the Kenyan mission.

TBH, he never actually convinced me as a doctor. Or maybe docs in Manchester are just different.

Why did Marie have such a downer on Elvis - she really seemed to have an issue before and she's so pro Jamie.

I really think that Georgie would have spoken to Elvis again once the dust settled over the non-wedding. Most people would want to have it out with the other person and get a proper explanation.
