We are about to watch the final episode in the final series of Downton. Our little gang has previoulsy watched all the series of Our Girl, Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers and Spooks. We dipped a toe into Hustle then moved onto Downton which has kept us occupied in the comings and goings of the Crawley family.

Othingbworse than parents turning up right enough

Back at Brize Norton, everyone's families are there to greet them. Belinda and Dave turn up with Nan as the driver.

Molly tells them she needs to be at the hospital in Birmingham and uses Smurf as her excuse.

Molly rushing and finds the bed empty...no CJ...but look who has turned up.

CJ is back in theatre.

Bossman is back. Molly and Smurf decide to sit it out.

I love this scene in the hospital. I remember watching this over and over again.

Smurf makes himself scarce.

Molly and CJ share a sweet moment. He actually looks pretty vulnerable there for a moment. The ex turns up with his son.

"Ditto" - a bit of a give away

Enter the ex Mrs CJ. She looks a stuck up madam. The little boy is cute.

Mrs Smurf has been through so much. Everyone misunderstands the situation.

When Molly says "Ditto" to CJ and his wife gives her a funny look, I wonder if it was one of their little phrases they said to each other.

Molly manages to slip away again and get some more time with CJ. Lovely head nod there.

I love this scene too! There's a heart to heart about why CJ and Rebecca split up.
