We are about to watch the final episode in the final series of Downton. Our little gang has previoulsy watched all the series of Our Girl, Soldier Soldier, The Musketeers and Spooks. We dipped a toe into Hustle then moved onto Downton which has kept us occupied in the comings and goings of the Crawley family.

They're on a mission to extract Bashira from danger.

Not the most appropriate reference at present...Sarah Fergusson...enough said!

Oh the very mention of Sarah Ferguson after all this week's scandal in the media!

And she’s dragged to a meeting. Imagine Georgie in this situation.

As one again!

They attack Bashira's home and it's empty.

Bashira is in the village square and looks suspicious and scared. This was a really shocking moment.

She'd be telling them all what to do...couldn't help herself

Molly ignores everything and just heads for Bashira. This was powerful stuff.

Too right, absolutely arguing the toss..."We have a duty of care!" 😂

Bashira is wearing a suicide vest. Molly rushes to her aid. CJ and the rest of the section must be almost having a heart attack at this point.

The temsion here was unbearable.CJ beside himself

Scary moment when the bomb disposal man turns up looking like a spaceman.

The moment they grab Bashira and run is also scary.

They are all stunned and shocked by that.

Eyedrops...don't know why CJ has to open his mouth like that.

Oh he has something in his eye. Lovely moment here

Fibber..."I don't get emotionally involved."

Molly attends to CJ's eye after the suicide vest is detonated. Another sweet moment between them.

"Don't go breaking my heart" Yay!!

"Don't go breaking my heart". She does at least take in good part even though she can't sing.

Can any of us remember at what point did the series start generating all the fanfiction?

I’d forgotten about the fan fiction! Mind you, I was only interested in the Elvis ones.

Not sure on that but I seem to remember it was pretty quick into the series. This episose was a cracker and probably set a few of the writers off
