A new thread as the first BB aka Blondes Broadcasts is nearly full and was almost 2years ago I set up BB rather then tagging people on the threads as I used to do - which was very time consuming

I love tv - whether murders - detectives - thrillers - comedy’s - food programmes etc

i watch a lot usually at work as usually Reflux baby over shoulder

all will tv paced - Nice to discuss plots and Theories etx

If one feels the need to binge 🙄😛🙀

DO NOT POST ON HERE

till that episode has been shown at tv pace

Thank you kindly 😘😘

it’s a very simple ask yet so many watch all , then reply about something we haven’t seen yet

Blondes glares 😂😂

first thread below

There’s less than a week to wait for Marble Hall Murders, the third and final Susan Ryeland mystery from Anthony Horowitz, following Magpie Murders and Moonflower Murders.
The new six-part series premieres on Masterpiece Mystery! on PBS on Sunday, September 6th at 9/8c.
The series is also coming to BBC One later in 2026, but an exact UK premiere date has not yet been announced.

NewAgeNewMe · 31/08/2026 20:01

Oh that sounds exciting thank you @moto748e hopefully we won’t have too long to wait.

Davros · 31/08/2026 20:27

Thanks @moto748e I love those, we’ll have to wait fir a date

mum2jakie · 31/08/2026 21:31

Love the Magpie Murders series. Wish they would also televise Horowitz's Hawthorne series. That would be a great watch!

AutumnMuse · 31/08/2026 21:42

@moto748e Thank you.

Pixiedust1234 · 31/08/2026 22:49

Just dropping in to say thanks for posting these programmes Blondes as I'd probably miss a few good ones otherwise.

Finally finished The Good Wives and thoroughly enjoyed it, watched The Dark which was okay, kept me interested anyway, and now on The Rainmaker which seems promising so far.

If any of you have the U&drama channel I just saw that a new series of The Chelsea Detective is starting on the 16th September. I really enjoyed the previous series

Love the Chelsea detective. Brilliantly acted.

lazymum99 · 03/09/2026 07:41

@Blondeshavemorefun It is a hidden gem. Very well acted and good story lines.

Davros · 03/09/2026 08:24

I’m a fan of the Chelsea Detective. I think the cheesy/cosy crime series, and there’s a big range within that category, are more entertaining and plausible once expectations are understood than the serious and tough series. I’m thinking Grace, Trigger Point, Vigil, Van der Valk etc

moto748e · 03/09/2026 11:09

Oh, I agree, @Davros . All the more so as the 'serious' dramas really haven't been all that recently. Grace, for example, is a dull main character, Vigil is pretty daft from what I've seen, and I didn't bother with the VDV re-boot; i still have scary memories of the original! None of them are a Line Of Duty or even a Homeland, and certainly not a Happy Valley. I've browsed through nearly all the Walter Presents stuff on C4, and I think many of these series manage the style better than we do. Recent French series Everyone Lies is a good example. I realise there''s no enthusiasm for sub-titles on this thread, though.

Blondeshavemorefun · 03/09/2026 19:56

Roll on LOD next year I think
