So much for Mindy working together. I hope she drops her phone and ( somehow) Oscar sees this video , but not sure how it could happen without her knowledge.
Tbf, I thought Jasmine’s acting skills went up a notch today ( still awful, but not as bad ) but I was disappointed that both Lauren and Cindy didn’t tell Oscar or Max what the adopted mum told them :(
Not that Oscar would have believed them, but they are desperate for him to stay.

How stupid was Max to put the phone on the counter ffs! As if that flimsy plant would hide it. He could have just put it behind the counter 🤦‍♀️

Max missed a trick there. I was hoping she’d say something really bad and be banished for good.
Seems it’s dragging on.
I can’t recall such a character that we all seem to universally loath as much as she is! I hope that the producer realizes it’s not working and she can leave soon.

Did we ever discover why when Deadpan Jas original turned up she was obsessed with Cindy?

I’ve noticed that jasmin keeps licking her lips. I think that is her expression face. Like mick’s just smelt a fart.

No I don't think so. The plot has taken so many different turns you have to wonder what the intended storyline was.

So Mark Junior knows that Grant is his dad?

Jasmine really needs to go, we’re going round in circles again with nothing resolved.

I thought Phil was taking Nigel to Portugal for a fortnight. His idea to take him to Portugal forever surely could not work, how would they get permission to stay? Unless he thinks Nigel only has a few weeks left!

Jasmine was never obsessed with Cindy, they just made feeble attempts to mislead us. She was mainly asking about her from the point of view of a mother who left her kids. Like Zoe.

Really frustrating today that Jasmine mentioned ‘my brother was separated from me’ then the conversation ended. Presumably they were separated because she’s a psycho!

Mark junior, even if he is a wooden actor ( hope not) at least his a bit of eye candy .. ( too young for me , but you need some motivation to carry on watching this lol)

Phil isn’t telling Julie about any of this ;(

Well Mark said "Hello Uncle Phil" when he rolled up at the front door all beaten up, so I'm assuming he knows who his father is 🤷‍♀️

Only on EastEnders would you get the choice of 'dementia person either goes into a care home or moves to Portugal'.

I think Mark was told about Grant when he appeared last time, which was ages ago? Anyway he obviously knows.

I hope he can act and we are not in another Jasmine situation.

Maybe Cindy is just gaining Max’s trust in order to stab him in the back. However, she dislikes Jasmine as much as we all do, so maybe it’s a case of ‘ forgive and forget ., for now ., ‘ !

I’ve just caught up on this week. Key take out from me
Sam wakes up from her op, her brother is there, fine. Her son, fine. Her ex and father of her son, weird but fine. Then George, who was clearly only there to hear the comment about Portugal to get Denise involved. Denise was nowhere to be seen when Phil ended up back in rehab, hasn’t been close with the Nigel thing but all of a sudden is stopping him?
why would George have Denise’s number? (although this happens so much, everyone’s got everyone’s number)
why hasn’t Linda been anywhere near Phil for months?

80s I think her loathing for Jasmine overcomes her loathing for Max!

Oh yes I forgot to mention Sam's op! Four blokes standing there staring at her (in her private room). So ridiculous. WTF was George there for?

Agree that Linda hasn’t connected with Phil or anyone really. She only chats to max because he lives there at the moment and mostly been cleaning and cooking !
The Honey night out was only to introduce Bea.

I didn’t actually realize how bad it was having George in the room until now.

Sometimes I feel that odd behavior tends to wash over me, or it’s a case of ‘ plot purposes’
for strange behavior like this. Surely G would be sorting out his new business deals, not visiting his friends sister just after an op !

Street whatsapp group, or in this case square.... him having the number is one of the more believable bits.

I've watched Eastenders since it started, I may have dipped in and out at some points but I have to say there are so many characters and storylines lately that I just don't care about. Please please let Jasmine go! I don't dislike her as an actor I just think she hasn't been given anything to work with so is just not really needed. I love the Oscar character and don't belive he would be with someone like her. I'm really hoping that the thing with Patrick in the flash forward doesn't mean it turns out that Jasmine is found to be all sweetness and light, they will have to make a big storyline to get the viewers back on side with her.

Why did Kat have doubts about Jasmine then go at Lauren? Who cares about the Elaine/Ian thing it's so boring. Why is Max's collar always up. Why has Linda come back such a wimp, if my mum had spent all our money on a hotel that looks like a 1930s knocking shop I think I'd have something to say. Why has Phil lost the plot over Nigel, he wasn't even Phil's mate he was Grants.

Am hoping Mark Jnr brings a bit of life back to the show

Mark seems to be another one in trouble , secrets, been beaten up. All been done before, but hopefully he’ll be more credible than Jasmine !
