Just spotted this and thought I would post in case any one has never seen it and wonders what it is all about.

Or for those who have seen it and still wonder what it is all about.

ITV4 first 2 episodes tonight (5/1/26)11pm and online.

Says it has 121 episodes so must be the whole thing!

I’m still upset that they didn’t tie it all up in the last series! I was so invested, put me off watching TV series for years.

Honestly, don’t bother.
It all gets so stupid you will end up angry at the time you wasted watching it.

But you will learn that should you ever get on a plane and there’s an unusual amount of good looking people then you need to leave pronto.

I’m watching a bit for the nostalgia.

Should have said it is on ITV4+1. Or as its online you can watch the very start and catch up before the ads start.

I watched it years ago and then it disappeared on terrestrial tv but as it had started to irritate me I wasn't that bothered.

But then some years later it got an offer sub for some platform or other and there is was. So I watched to the end.

Think they could have done without the middle series.

But have no idea what the ending meant.

Even read up a so called explanation and it still didn't make sense!

So look forward to having someone explain to me after 121 episodes!

I didn’t regret watching it. I didn’t like the other others but overall it was very enjoyable. The writer’s strike played havoc with it though.

I remember I used to watch the bloopers on YouTube. They were very funny. Must look them up again.

Hmmm...Jack...Sawyer...Jack...Sawyer... never could decide.

Maybe if I watch it again all well become clear.

Recently mentioned Lost on another thread and am rewatching season 1 on Disney+ - I love it and think the payoff is well worth it!

I think in its day it suffered with an assumption the writers didn’t know where it was going, or ‘they were dead all along so the ending is bad’. It’s daft of course but it’s much smarter and well plotted than may be given credit for. Fantastic ensemble, too.

I agree with this. I think it was a bit ahead of its time in that it's much easier to follow if you binge it. I watched it all for the first time last year and if I'd waited a year between seasons I would have been completely confused as I'd have forgotten all the subplots.

And... Sawyer. Jack really annoyed me in the middle (I won't spoil it) and I never saw him the same after that.

Just thought - sorry that is not a spoiler for the ending! It was just a widely-held assumption people made to dismiss the show’s storytelling at the time. It put me off back then too, so I’m really glad I went back.

Too late to edit but I think I actually meant more waiting a whole week between episodes, rather than a year between seasons. It's such a complex plot with so many mysteries that an hour once a week would have anyone 'Lost' (sorry )

I watched it the first time and recently again on Netflix. I understood it much more the second time and think I had missed bits first time and also enjoyed the ending.

I wouldn’t bother either. It started off so well and had great promise. Also the backstories were brilliant but they just didn’t get the ending right. I was so disappointed after that huge investment. I appreciate I’m being a bit dramatic 😂

I am still annoyed with the ending, or should I say, the total lack of an ending.
