Amanda and Alan's Greek Job

Has anyone started watching this yet?

Having been a big fan of their previous series (Sicily, Tuscany and Andalucia), I couldn't wait to see them together in Corfu!

So far I am about 5 episodes into the total of 8 and it has not failed to disappoint. I have laughed and cried and been one click away from ordering a Demis Roussos CD of songs I listened to on my mum's vinyl LP as a kid.

I've loved them all, but this is my favourite series yet ❤️

Her laugh really puts me off watching though.

She does cackle a bit, but I can see past that. Love her, love him and love the pair of them together too. Such a great pairing 👌

No. Nothing of the sort 🤨 But I really do want some of her co-ord outfits 😍

This is on my List to watch as I’ve also loved the other jaunts they have done. AH has actually grown on me watching this and I love looking at her outfits 😄
Alan is fucking hilarious, I love him. They are fantastic together

I love watching the pair of them together but I have felt we have seen far less input into what they are doing in the rooms and where they are getting the items from.

Love every outfit Amanda wears, if only I had her figure and youth, Alan brushes up well too

We go to a lot of the places they go to like Kalami and Kassiopi so it's lovely to watch and think, in 6 months we'll be there again!

I have always thought that phrase had a positive meaning being a double negative and all that. But it turns out I was using it wrong 🤦‍♀️

How do they compare? We went to Kalami years ago but the weather wasn’t great and wasn’t too impressed.

Hi. Kassiopi has a lot more going on. A lovely harbour with restaurants and bars then a main street off the harbour again peppered with bars and restaurants yet it isn't crowded...well we go mid to late June. There's also a lovely walk all the way around the headland. 2 weeks and you wouldn't eat it the same place twice if you picked differently each night. Beaches are stoney but we have a car and tend to get out exploring by day if we want a sandy beach

We enjoy Kalami for a few hours, lunch etc but too small a resort for us.

I loved it, love their friendship, love Amanda's outfits, love Alan's humour. I skipped through some of this series as less about the renovation than other series I think.

I agree. I did find him asking one of the workmen to find him a hookup with one of his friends acutely embarrassing though. Greece is still a conservative place and it was really cringey and disrespectful. They treat the Greeks like props to their shenanigans which don’t have much to do with renovation at all. I can’t stand AH. Alan is more likeable. I just wish there was more substance to it all. Their ridiculous white suits !
