I'll give you my theory - they are all identical twins and this has always been the case in previous series too. They have to swap in/out of the castle with their twin every day. This is why it often appears that they have had their minds wiped over night and drop theories that were gaining traction the day before because its actually a completely different set of players the next day.

🤣🤣🤣

I guess that’s what the producers need to aim for next series - identical twins! But would you have both in, or one who is subbed in and out.

SomethingUniqueThisTime · 07/01/2026 23:52

WriterOfWrongs · 07/01/2026 23:41

The Who’s Who could be a nod to some of them having eminent or secret careers that they’re hiding, eg Harriet. Amanda is also hiding her profession, and we now know Maz is as well.

I agree. This series seems to be focussing on ‘secrets’, secret traitor, secret careers & backgrounds, as well as secret relationships.

WriterOfWrongs · 07/01/2026 23:53

I agree about the editing being clunky BUT I think it was deliberate with Ellie and Ross. Not so sure it was deliberate for Fiona.

Ellie and Ross's intro on the train made it very obvious they may know each other, because (as many of us have said), who acts surprised about someone else living in London.

So the editors chose to deliberately leave that in. Ditto with the private chat Ross and Ellie had. I think they wanted to make it clear to viewers that there were secret connections, at least one or two. So that it was a clue, along with the family tree and the Who's Who, that there are several different secret connections.

The ultimate headfuck meta Traitor series: three sets of identical twins, with a twin from each set being a Traitor. And a wildcard fourth traitor, who is Welsh.

Daytimetellyqueen · 07/01/2026 23:58

I enjoyed the secret traitor (but more for how it messed with Hugo & Rachel as Traitors) but don’t really enjoy other secrets being kept from us as part of the fun of watching the show is seeing how they interact with one another.

ilovesooty · 08/01/2026 00:04

I can't decide whether Fiona or Rachel is the nastier piece of work. I'm rooting for the Faithfuls too.

RescueMeFromThisSilliness · 07/01/2026 23:15

The second I clocked that family tree in the frame, I thought to myself - Hmmm. And the thing is - not once did anyone speculate on why it was there in the first place. Which makes me think, why not? You wouldn't say anything if it was you in case you outed yourself by mistake, and since nobody has mentioned it, that does make me think there's quite a few connections. Or... they have mentioned it, and it's deliberately not been shown in the edit so as not to give the game away. Which means there are more of them still to go.

They showed that Who's Who book again tonight as well.

I'll stop rambling now.😁

In an earlier episode someone commented on it as they walked past with Amanda and said something along the lines of 'maybe people are related' and Amanda said (joking) 'Oh yes Reece is my son'

Genius.

TraitorsFan · 08/01/2026 01:06

Do you think they get hair and make up done each morning? Everyone seems so well put together.

I’ven been wondering that, too. I asked earlier about Rachel, as her plait-across-the-head style was so neat.

Catsandcwtches · 08/01/2026 01:17

At this point there isn’t much advantage for the faithfuls in catching a traitor. If they do, a new one will likely be recruited and be hard to spot. It makes more sense for them to keep them in to the final and then get rid of them.

It would be a better game if new traitors couldn’t be recruited, the game is so stacked against faithfuls.

Oneforallandallforone · 08/01/2026 01:42

I don't really care who is related to who. It makes very little difference to the game when we don't know in advance and especially when its edited not to show private conversations between them

Fiona put herself at risk two different ways by not giving any skulls back to the person she was fighting for. It was a traitor move to try to sabotage someone and it was an anti faithful move because she has highlighted that she didn't add to the prize fund so she will be more disposable to the faithfuls.

I guessed it was her and think she's having fun with the role. She needs to be a bit nicer though if she's trying to copy Alan Carr's game.
Rachel is taking it far too seriously. She is coming across as devoid of all humour. The way to win this game is by forging friendships and gaining alliances. Rachel is doing this with both Amanda and Harriet, two of the strongest players, so I predict, unless she massively fcuks up, that she will be one of the last remaining traitors.
Stephen sweating profusely while constantly following Rachel's lead, has to arouse suspicion and thats before he digs his own grave by talking too much. I thinik he will be the next traitor to be voted out although Rachel will try to redirect attention from him, for a while at least, as she knows he will have her back and she can't trust Fiona.

I didn't notice Ross's fingers but his voice and tone of his voice were gorgeous. He invited himself out of the game by overtalking.

It would be a better game if new traitors couldn’t be recruited, the game is so stacked against faithfuls.

In the Irish version, the faithfuls kept in a traitor who they knew was a traitor, so they could concentrate on finding another, and avoid a new traitor being recruited.

When the known traitor was banished, the faithfuls ended up having a huge argument between themselves telling them they had wasted their vote and lessened the chance of finding another traitor. They argued that 'the dogs on the street knew that X was a traitor' and they shouldn't have banished them.

It was a real anticlimax at the round table. While it was a good tactic, it didn't make good television.

NewGirlInTown · 08/01/2026 02:26

I wish they weren’t pushing the ‘secret relationship’ story line so much. I would have preferred 22 people who didn’t know one another and the game to be played with a straight bat, with them all coming in as equals.

I think he is her son. When they were chatting tonight they seemed very familiar with each other.

Hobnobswantshernameback · 08/01/2026 06:55

Someone suggested Fiona is copying Alan carr
this was filmed before the celebrity version so that's impossible
If anything Alan might be copying Fiona🤣
Although sweaty Stephen is more Alan I think🤣

Ha ha @Oneforallandallforone perhaps since then producers have tried to warn the cast off that tactic!

Which raises the question could smart players like Amanda be playing a different undercover game under the radar of the producers, where they secretly aren’t trying to get traitors out until the end, but aren’t telling anyone?

pouletvous · 08/01/2026 07:33

I really dont think they’re all related

Ben, Hugo both evicted and no connections revealed

Netty knew Ross although that seems to be coin centric

pouletvous · 08/01/2026 07:34

Rhe Ellie/Ross connection was found out by internet snoops so other relationships could easily be uncovered

MrsMitford3 · 08/01/2026 07:36

I watched last night and I am reading the comments this morning and I can't even remember which one Ben is.

This series just not sticking with me 😂

PuppyMonkey · 08/01/2026 07:37

I’m not sure about them being related but I did notice last week that Amanda and Reece were often together in the pool room in the background or just walking down the corridor together and it made me think “wonder what those two are chatting about”.

pouletvous · 08/01/2026 07:37

im not convinced that Reece is a sweet shop assistant

he must surely have another career

Chiaseedling · 08/01/2026 07:43

Gutted Ross went - he really dug his own grave. though ‘what turret?’ Ffs!!
DS was shouting at the telly ,Nooo, I love Ross!!’
Someone needs to listen to those saying it’s Stephen and why didn’t Reece(?) speak up about seeing Stephen and Rachel at the family tree.
