Really? (re Alan and Usha) I think Alan is a bit right on, but not Usha usually IMO. Also I don't think it is that unusual for a man to have more than one 'ethnic' relationship as it has been put, just like some men go for blondes IYSWIM.

Why don`t the writers get real?Brian is the best,and Adam,he sounds so capable.

pip is as irritating as her mother -but deevid tarred with the same brush for putting up with them.

There is something about Brian I have always quite liked - he is not dull or smug.

Yes--Brian is great. And I can see why Jennifer wanted to cling on to him despite the Siobhan stuff. He's about the only alpha male in that community.

I think Nic will come back into it. Somebody else is going to smack George shortly (hopefully Susan or Emma - in fact I remember Emma's reaction when Will told her exactly what Nic had done, slapped George's leg, and to me it sounded as if Emma has probably done the same thing at some point) and William will realise that Nic was not a nasty child beater but just a woman at the end of her tether trying to deal with a spoiled child.

I also wondered whether Alice had somehow contracted HIV in SA while working with the orphans, the RAF have done medical checks and found out, but the paperwork has gone missing somewhere and they have not told Alice.

I also think I should be a scriptwriter on the Archers .

Can someone tell me why Alice didn't get into the RAF? I missed that one!
