This is Kate Winslet’s directing debut and she stars, along with a host of other famous names.

Who has watched it and what did you think?

I thought it was excellent, even if a little predictable. I also cried my eyes out and thy have been meaning ever since.

Really disappointed and didn’t watch til the end. A great cast wasted.

The okay was a bit of a low. The kids seemed to like doing it though! As if most hospitals would allow any of that ! Not.

Agree the play was dire and tediously long. I don't care if the child actors liked doing it, nobody but their own parents enjoy watching kid's plays at the best of times. And to be fully transparent here, I don't even like watching my own kid's plays.

Oh I agree. Plays and what not can be torture ! Especially little children ones.. sat through a few bad ones myself.
Only one I liked was a secondary school one of ‘ bugsy Malone ‘ ! I think it was because the production was very good though !

It was ok. But - Toni Collette pregnant at her age. Ridiculous casting that one…

I made the same remark to my husband. Love Toni Collette, but she was too old to believe she became pregnant “the old fashioned way”!

I think the unrealistic hospital spoiled it for me. A very simple story that should have rung true just didn't. Can you imagine a nurse having time to watch bake off with a patient?
