Corriedale - theories and SPOILERS

Does anyone have any thoughts on how this will play out?

I think undead Becky has a connection to Celia and Ray in Emmerdale so this will then become a people trafficking and slavery story combining both and then combining Costello and possibly Carla who I think is being held somewhere.

Anyone watch one but not the other and needs an update?

I think they might kill Debbie off.

I hope it brings an end to the Todd and Theo and Carla and Becky storylines.

Both are dismal and have gone on for far too long. It really puts me off watching now.
I don't watch Emmerdale.

I hope not. Much more to explore with her storyline. Billy on the other hand.

Oh yeah, Billy is a good shout. I thought Debbie so they don't need to show her decline, which I think will be a horrific watch.

I watched today's episodes this morning. I had not guessed about Carla! How on earth did you work that out @washingfrenzy?!

Oh! I didn’t. I haven’t seen it. Just a suspicion really. Take it I am right? Undead Becky is so unbelievable. My teenagers are more of a danger first thing in the morning!

Well, I was right! I hope it’s over quickly and Carla still isn’t kidnapped come Easter.

Well, the shops are selling Easter eggs already, so she may well be! 😆

I saw a spoiler with Becky driving Carla and Lisa into a lake.
Hoping it ends with Lisa and Becky gone, either to Atlantis or Spain, and not Lisa surviving and swanning off into the sunset with Carla.
@washingfrenzy I also saw a theory that Becky is working with John Sugden.

Becky tying that pathetic dressing gown belt around Carla’s head is bugging me. She could easily shuffle it off the back of her head. I know it’s only telly but they could at
least try and make it realistic 🙄

I wonder if they will kill off Debbie too, I’m sure I read she was leaving early 2026 and feel that would be too quick a decline with her dementia?

Disclaimer - I don’t know much about dementia!

I think I read somewhere that Debbie was originally meant to die soon but they’ve extended it to let her illness play out. Can’t remember where I saw that though.

I am wondering though if Theo finds Billy’s keys that were given to Todd last night and a breaks in and does something to Billy.

I only watch Emmerdale,so I'm not sure I'll be able to follow the Coronation Street bit.

Yes it was pretty obvious to me too that Theo is going to find Billy's keys. I did wonder how Billy was going to get home himself but then thought Summer could let him in!

Not another drive into the lake scene. It's only a year (?) since the Emmerdale one! Becky really needs to get her comeuppance and this would be a cop out (pun not intended).

Can someone please give me a quick rundown of recent Emmerdale storylines to help it make sense when they combine them. I haven't watched Emmerdale for years!

I only watch now and again but Robert who was married to Arran was released from prison. He tried to stop Arran getting married to his new partner, John who is a serial killer. They did eventually get married. Lots happened between Arran and John and several cast members and in the end he fled. Roughly the same time, It became apparent Robert got married to Kev in prison. He was also released and became a nuisance too. John kidnapped Kev - not sure how as I missed a few episodes but Kev got away and has stopped John from killing Robert as he told Arran what was going on and arranged got back to the house on time. Seems they are all about to go to Ireland and then Spain. I think them all being in the car places them all at the accident scene in Corriedale.

Meanwhile charity dingle is pregnant but we don’t know if it’s part of the surrogate storyline she has with her granddaughter or after an affair with Ross which I think happened when Mac, Charitys husband was kidnapped by John above
and buried underground. At the time Charity thought Mac had just left her.

I'm not really looking forward to Corriedale. I mean, I'll watch, obviously (!) but I don't really see the point. Hoping it brings some storylines to a close. I really want Swarla to be ok but I know that's not a popular idea. I hoped Billy was going to rescue Todd before he leaves.

I don't watch Emmerdale, although it's often on in the background after we've eaten dinner so I kind of roughly know what's going on but not in detail.

My guess is that Shona loses her baby

They already seem to have lost interest in this plot
