2000s for myself

Probably the 2000s, lots of very good long running series started, Lost, Dexter, 6 feet under, The Mentalist, West Wing, Prison Break, 24, Criminal Minds, Mad Men, etc. I wasn't keen on the Wire and Sopranos but I include these as well as many loved them. I don't think the series released now are ever as good as these 2000 decade series.

I like the 1970s sitcoms like The Good Life, Butterflies, To the Manor Born, also films like Kramer vs Kramer, The Railway Children, The Go-Between and Tess.

Maybe the 00s

Greys anatomy
Eastenders
Geordie shore (was that the 00s? Maybe the 00s and 2010s)
The inbetweeners
Skins
Modern family

90's: Blackadder, Have I got news for you, Whose line is it anyway, BBC's pride and prejudice and the Big breakast.

70s and 90s.
70s included Fawlty Towers, The Good Life, Butterflies, The Morecambe & Wise show
90s had some great drama series and comedy.
