I don't disagree that they should all do the full range of dances, but that's not her fault.
I loved her AT. Didn't mind it being staccato; I thought it was beautifully stylish and exciting.

I only looked at the top 4 for weeks 6-10
Week 10 was Karen, Lewis, George, Amber
Week 9 was Karen, Lewis, George, Alex
Week 8 was Lewis, George, Alex, Karen
Week 7 was Vicky, Lewis, Karen, George
Week 6 was Lewis, Karen, Alex, LaVoix

Hmm. That doesn't give anything away, does it.

Amber only features once. Wonder why in week 10 specifically? And if that was the start of her getting more popular, or a one-off, or down to her particular dance? (or something else I haven't thought of). In other words, will people continue to vote for her or not?
Vicky was popular and then not popular, which I guess was borne out by her eventually going when she didn't get a high judges' score.
There seem to be three clear favourites!

My reply seems to be hidden because it contains a link to the current betting. Karen is now odds on to win. It's the first time George hasn't been favourite.

I would love it to be Karen, George and Lewis in the final, with Karen winning, although I would also be fine with George winning. He seems so self conscious that I’m not sure he would manage to pull it off though. Karen always seems to do well in public polls and she has had some terrific dances.
Lewis comes across well in the shows and I do enjoy his talent. I don’t dislike him.
Amber is too stage school and faux naive for me to warm to her. A bit too squeaky and ‘little me just can’t believe it all’ giggles. It’s grating. I suspect she will be up against Bal this week and Bal will finally go, which is a shame but she also seems to be flagging a bit now. She’s done very well though, I admire her attitude and determination.

Alex was the right decision to go this weekend, and I agree Jojo seemed to be saying goodbye too. With Tess and Claud going I wonder how many longer standing pros might also leave, in case it’s the beginning of the end for strictly.

Johannes looks magnificent, like a well-groomed, possibly villainous fashion designer from an episode of Columbo.

I know I'm in a minority but I would love to see Lewis win. Amber is a super dancer but I find it hard to connect with her and Nikita. Both Karen and George are inconsistent and, whilst I know he's a ringer, Lewis is just fabulous to watch and he's had to work to master ballroom. I find Karen very spiky and almost ungainly at times....but then she'll do an absolute stunner of a dance. George has generally been a bit dull and served as a useful pole for Alexis to dance around, but he's definitely livened up in the last few weeks.

No, not really. Though it shows that a Lewis, Karen, George final would be the most likely combination of the remaining couples.

And it's also just one source. So doesn't necessarily reflect the general public's views.

My guess is that it's because there are fewer couples. When you have six couples, it's easier to make the top four.

I don't much like watching her dance, although I loved her AT. It was spectacular.

Im in this minority too. Lewis is my clear favourite, I'll be gutted for him if he doesn't win. Everyone else is too inconsistent, or in Amber's case hard to connect with.

I'm a realist, and have accepted that Karen and George are more likely to win than Lewis. However, I'd be delighted for him and Katya if they won. He's probably the sort that would win the majority of live tours rather than the TV show.

I would also like Lewis to win. He’s the only one this series who has done dances I want to rewatch. I haven’t warmed to Karen, and while I do like George there haven’t been any dances of his that stand out. Amber is very good and I do like her dances at the time but none of them have been memorable afterwards. Usually there is someone other than the ringer I’m rooting for but there isn’t this year so I’m happy for the ringer to win!

Apart from Caroline Flack, Jay McGuinness and arguably Jill Halfpenny, have other ringers won? So many times the best dancer hasn't won.

Kara Tointon, danced with Artem…? can’t remember how many years ago that was!

Yes, I remember that - also Ashley Roberts (ringer but not winner) playing down her previous experience as a bit of jigging about with the Pussycat Dolls when it was pretty obvious she was a highly trained dancer.

Kara was on strictly in 2010.

She actually taught dance and had her own dancing school.

Layton taught (teaches?) dance as well.
