The Death of Bunny Munro with Matt Smith written by Nick Cave

Anyone started watching? I wanted to stop Ive never come across such a vile character in a show ever. Its based on a book by Nick Cave. I do not know what his redemption will be so I guess Im going to have to continue watching. The soundtrack is brilliant as expected but, I dunno hes unbearable. Im not a fan of Matt Smith to start with.

I bloody love Matt Smith. He's my favourite Doctor. I will watch this at some point.

I'm a big Nick Cave fan and I've been looking forward to this. The book is grim though. I believe that Matt Smith has softened the character a bit.

Oh really? Goodness I’d never tell but I haven’t read the book. The little boy is great in the role. It’s a shame he won’t beable to watch it!

I unsubscribed from Now TV months ago, and haven’t missed it at all. This is the one thing that might tempt me back.

I read the book around 2010 and thought it was brilliant at the time—though I was in my very early 20s, so I imagine I’d have a different perspective now as the mother of a very small boy.

It’s probably easier to tolerate such an odious character on the page than on the screen, I suppose. I’d say stick with it, maybe.

Disclaimer: I’m a huge Nick Cave fan, and I’m from Brighton, where the book is set, so I probably had more of a personal interest than most.

That’s what I had assumed. Also a bit better looking than the sad bastard I imagined in my head.

Didn’t Nick Cave say Matt smith was too attractive to represent the character in the book because he was meant to be odious in every way.

I can’t stop watching it. Good job it’s freezing outside. Nothing about it is happy but not should everything be.

Finished it. I appreciated it but it’s so dark. I will wait for the rest of you to watch it.

I saw nick cave in the street the other day. He was very polite and moved out of the way for me on the pavement.

Radio 4 did a review of it at 7.15 today. They said it was an uncomfortable watch but to stick with it basically
