This is it, I see zach with Denise 😭😭

Not a match I'd see coming . I'd see Zack & Nicola , Zack & Zoe , Zack & Priya , Zack & Lauren , Zack & Yolande ( joking ) before Denise .

Denise likes them young (Kush) and has no qualms about sharing men with her daughter (both Ravi and Jack have been there with Chelsea) so I could see her going for Zack. I doubt it though as for reasons unknown she seems stuck on JackandJack.

Perhaps she's not an actual Ford but they have some kind of hold over her and forced her to track down Cindy. She was asking Oscar to help her at the end of the last episode (my heart literally sank when she emerged from the shadows, was hoping we'd seen the last of her for a while) so maybe she is now on the run from the Fords.

Whatever her connection it is guaranteed to be ridiculous, unbelievable, and a damp squib!

Just don't let Jasmine have an "I think I'm pregnant and you're the Dad" episode .
Oscar needs to get the hell away from her .
Hopefully when they did get it on he did a Jeremey Kyle (put something on the end of it )

Jack&Jack was with Chelsea?

Denise was with Kush?! My memory can’t hold all of the couple combinations in EE.

What ever happened to Libby? She’s never mentioned anymore.

JackandJack had a fling/ONS with Chelsea many years ago. I think it was before he had his kids so at least 16 years ago or so. Time flies!

Dee was with Kush for a while. I can’t remember how they got together or why they broke up.

Libby is rarely mentioned. She was a rare success story as she did well at school and actually (gasp) left the square to go to Oxford university. I think Dee mentioned going to stay with her ages ago but no-one has said where she is or what she is doing.

I can’t remember why Kush and Denise broke up.
I remember Chelsea and Jack, but I think it was ‘old head ‘ Chelsea ? She was more of a rebel anyway.

I’m confused at Jack and Dee’s complete lack of concern that their granddaughter is living under the supervision of her 15 year old mother and a clearly very unstable Jean. Lily is obviously struggling but no-one seems to notice or care!

I think their breakup was around the time Denise suddenly became poor for no apparent reason, started eating out of bins and going to the food bank. It was such an implausible storyline as she was surrounded by family and friends who would happily have fed her.

What do we think the ‘shocking events of Christmas Day’ (at the Vic) are? Hopefully an ending to the Zoe merry-go-round. Police are involved afterwards but that could just be the usual festive punch up.

I expect it’ll be what I’ve been saying for months - that it’s revealed that Jasmine is Zoe’s daughter and that Jasmine is the stalker, or her brother (Zoe’s other child). Yawn. I don’t think we’re in for an exciting or surprising couple of episodes that day, I just don’t have the confidence in the current producer that he’s capable of pulling together two outstanding episodes (or even one) but we’ll see.

That is my thinking too South.
If Jasmine is not Zoe's daughter after all this, I will lose the will to live!
But I don't expect it to be good drama because as you say, this producer does not seem to be able to achieve that. It's all been going on for far too long already.

The tv guides are being a bit mysterious around the events of Christmas. Which is as it should be, but I wonder if it’ll be a complete surprise
I didn’t see Cindy being hit last year coming at all.

Although that being Kathy ‘ that did it ‘ was a bit of a cop out.
Maybe they will throw a curve ball this time too?

Zoe hasn’t pursued finding her son for a while.
I felt sorry for Kat being ripped off by that terrible PI woman :(
Maybe Alfie is the twins dad ? I still feel his more involved with this somehow. He did go off to try and bring her back , so I’m probably wrong ( or he isn’t aware his the dad ?)

Last xmas was a different (good) producer though 80s so I am not holding out a lot of hope!

If Jasmine is the daughter then Alfie isn't the father! If Jasmine isn't the daughter the entire past three months has been a waste of time.

I guess the surprise is supposed to be that Zoe is looking for MySon but will find her daughter. Who may then lead to the son. I am a long way past caring!

There isn’t one storyline that’s interesting me, everything feels to be dragged on way past its sell by date.

The thing I find strange is , if Jasmine is Zoe’s daughter ( who she thought had died) why hasn’t she had any kind of scenes with Zoe? By now they should have had at least one run or meeting in or something?
It’s all pointing to her being a Ford, unless she thinks that Cindy is her long lost mum by mistake ?
Or she is the stalker as well and so keeping out of Zoe’s way for this very reason.
There are a few scenarios I suppose ( or , like Danielle Ronnie’s daughter , Jasmine dies jusy before Zoe realizes who she is )
Anyway, max and L are back soon, so maybe things might pick up a bit !

80s, the apparent focus on Cindy would be deliberate misdirection, so it didn't occur to viewers she is connected with Zoe. But if she isn't connected with Zoe she is a total waste of time (IMO)! If she is a Ford and after Cindy, it means the Zoe storyline is in exactly the same place it was 3 months ago - nowhere!

just some musings on my part earlier , but I agree it’s been a mess and most people are not interested or involved in this particular storyline!
I just hope things do pick up soon.. you never know !

I may have interpreted it all wrong, but if Jasmine is connected to the Fords, then I can't see her also being connected to the Slaters. I'm not invested in it to actually care either way. I was hoping Jasmine was a passing character, to facilitate Cindy's annual leave.
