Most people would ring Antnee’s wife to get her side of the story as restraining orders are not given out easily and there must be a back story. Partick is too trusting , but you would trust your own over a relative you haven’t seen in years I suppose and he is a GP too, so we are hard wired to trust them more I suppose ( although historically , Doctors have a bad rep for murdering. Shipman springs to mind, but there are others !)

I suppose a pregnancy is all part of softening up Nic so we forget she's a killer.

I wonder if Nigel's film (yes, what is it - strange collection of characters!) will mesh into the delusions he has about Barry and Pat. People with dementia can get to a stage where they see things on TV/film and confuse them with reality so it could all get jumbled in Nigel's mind. I thought Priya was lovely with him yesterday.

Priya was nice with Nigel.
I like her, but I guess she’ll be another one ruined next year !

Do GP’s need the DBS certificate ( or whatever it’s called now ) as they do ( rarely , but it happens) visit people at home ? Or is it just a trust thing ?

I just googled, GPs do have a DBS. He said it hadn't gone to court yet so maybe that means he is not yet 'guilty' so can carry on practising. No idea! But this the show where Kojo can overstay his visitor's visa even though he's now known to the police!

Yep, has anyone mentioned Kojo’s visa?
Phil said something back in the summer about it , but nothing since. Surely he’d be in trouble for hiring him if it’s expired ? Must be rules around all this that nobody bothers about. George wanted to send him back to Ghana once , but again, forgotten about !

So, we have a GP working alone ( which isn’t allowed anymore since Shipman ) and possibly not with a DBS and hardly any patients , only people from the square who tend to wander in when they feel like it for a chat or a row.
Kojo on an expired visa working on one car and leaving the float money out on the side for anyone to take at any time.
Children hidden in cupboards or barely mentioned.
Howie off and ( probs) not being prosecuted for stealing the parcel.
Various ones having time from running businesses that would be mega busy at this time of year , to take part in a film! Nicola not deciding what to do about being with child with a man who hates her and the prospect of a miserable Kim with only her nail bar for income and yet another fire looming. How many fires can one place have in a year ? !
It’s all a bit grim and we still don’t know who Zoe’s stalker is or who was the babies dad.

So many questions!

And who thought it was a good idea to leave Kojo working alone at the garage?

That is a point about Howie not being prosecuted. He'll probably just disappear now.

I can imagine Jasmine being Antnee and Zoe's, she is just the kind of narky human the two of them would produce.

It says the fire destroys Dot's house. I suppose they want an excuse to get rid of the interior which is circa 1980, but no one would ever volunteer to change Dot's decor.

Agree that seeing the back of Dot’s awful kitchen decour won’t be a bad thing. Although I remember that she loved it all !

I am of the opinion that Jasmine is a Ford, but yes, I can imagine her as Zoe’s offspring too.
If Antnee is the dad, why isn’t Zoe saying anything to him ? What has she got to lose, he clearly has money and can help find their son? She has already bled poor Kat dry and in vein , why not team up with the actual father? She is being ( annoyingly ) mysterious.

Zoe has completely forgotten about My Boy though, he's slipped her mind!

Oh yes maybe Lauren et all will camp at the Boutique hotel. Either that, or Ian's!

I can imagine that E will ( reluctantly) take them in with ‘ mates rates’ but she is after a less motley crew to pay the bills a more upmarket clientele! Or maybe just Oscar , because he is fun and the rest with Ian and Kathy and Harvey etc etc.

@Yellowsunbeam Oh GOD! I’d forgotten about fake Michelle. I think I blocked her from my mind in some sort of trauma response at how SHIT she was 🤣

I’d forgotten Nic is pregnant.

Can’t say I’m excited about the return of Sam and her never ending collection of blazers. Looking forward to Linda returning from her world cruise with the kids (sounds hellish!) though…and reuniting with dastardly Max.

Honestly, I love Sam’s power blazers😂

Howie won’t be prosecuted, no-one ever is on EE (unless they are innocent and framed/taking the blame for a family member). And Super Cop Jack conveniently left the party to go to work before all the crimes were revealed. What I don’t understand is Penny was there when Howie proposed and clearly saw the ring he gave Kim…but didn’t think anything of the fact it was the same as her stolen one and Howie is the local delivery man🙄

Kojo and the visa is ridiculous. Phil mentioned a few months ago that George “changed the tourist visa into a different one” which you literally cannot do. Also very unrealistic that Phil would now allow Kojo to operate the garage on his own.

I used to like Kojo but they have made him into a main character and I don't think he can carry that. I don't believe Phil would let him work alone at the garage and Harry's not to be trusted so he needs a new mechanic!

I'm looking forward to Linda's return but I half suspect that she and Max will go round in circles much like every other plot and we will be sick of them within a month.

Kojo would need an assistant or a manager there as Phil is useless and Harry has ( I assume) been sacked.
Normally Sharon would step in, maybe Sam may take it on or Lauren ? Have a tie in with the car lot.
Maybe too sensible.

Someone said this week that "Harry is not yet ready to return to work" so I assume Phil has not sacked him!

Sam is only here for a few weeks and her focus will be the cancer storyline - and having a row with Zoe of course 😆

Phil is being very good as Harry isn’t in a fit state to work and hasn’t been there that long. Not sure where he’d stand as regards sick pay from Phil or benefits ? He said he was skint , but must be something he could claim for ? Is he self employed? Although I don’t think he was tbf.

Max will take one look at Annie’s red hair and take into account her age and put two and two together!
Hopefully she may chase him for child maintenance! She may need some money after spending loads on a long cruise and having to live with Elaine.!

Oscar is a real blabbermouth (but I love him). He even managed to enliven his scene with Antnee.

Max will probably have a right old punch up with Oscar , maybe guilt induced (Max is a pretty rubbish Dad) and Oscar will blurt out "Oh yeah that's right , turn your back on me 'cos you've got a brand new little daughter that hopefully you won't mess up like you did the rest of us " ........

Oscar is certainly different. He is a bit marmite on the socials , but we love him here. So it’s all good.

Lauren and Oscar know about Annie who is currently sunbathing on a long cruise ( or maybe not , as with her colouring she should be out the sun)

If Harry is an employee he would qualify for statutory sick pay which is £118 per week. Paid by your employer for up to 28 weeks. Good luck with getting Phil to pay!

Can you get SSP from day one? He has been there a few months I think ?
