Eastenders has gone to hell in a handcart. It is utterly shit. The worst thing they ever did was bring the godawful Zoe back, and all her associated characters. Boring beyond belief.

I agree. I have completely lost track of the Zoe, Chrissie, Jake, Jasmine storyline, probably because I can't be bothered to concentrate when it's on. What was all that meeting up in the park, driving off and then coming back about? I'd rather watch more bad Ravi and Max.

I almost have up two weeks ago because it’s so dire. I thought I cannot watch another minute until they get rid of Zoe and Jasmine. It’s irritating the life out of me. They’ve added nothing. It’s embarrassing. Of course I couldn’t resist catching up on Iplayer. Jake? Chrissie? Chrissie pretend crying? All I can think is the actors must be glad of the money. Absolute old tosh

Hello everyone, not posted on these threads for ages but regular reader! Does anyone find Peacock’s Palace just doesn’t work, firstly it’s far too small! It’s no bigger than anyone’s house on the Square yet we are supposed to believe that, Elaine, Linda, Ollie, Annie and Johnnie live there plus all the guests! Also Elaine and Linda are always dressed like they are in a nightclub from seven in the morning cooking breakfasts and doing the cleaning in four inch heels and sequins, the whole set up feels like I’m watching Crossroads or Acorn Antiques. Elaine was brilliant in the Vic and I really liked the pairing with her and Cindy, I wish they had made Elaine become a partner with Cindy at the Albert and expanded on that set up and relationship. It’s like the writers don’t know what to do with Linda and Elaine and have stuck them in a pointless bed and breakfast, once Max leaves there will be no point in the place at all, it’s not as if any Eastenders regulars will be staying or dropping in so how many scenes can they actually do that involves the B&B?

Agree that once max leaves the b and b, the place will need more of the regular characters to be there. Or new ones maybe.
It is cramped and how they clean and run it together with two young children around in four inch heels is ridiculous, the sequins on her top may end up clogging up the sink ! We know it’s open new years as we saw their peacock palace car parked up in the flash forwards, so it isn’t shutting any time soon ! It will just need new people to stay in it when Max goes as he wasn’t in there new years ( didn’t look it was the b and b he was in anyway) !

Yes, I agree about PP! I think it's bad enough the way Phil's place is decorated with that overbearing blue patterned wall paper. But the B&B is even worse imho!

The b and b is horrible. Nice cream walls and not so many dust collectors around. A more contemporary feel wouid be better.
Maybe it’ll just be for scenes with E laine and Linda and the kids. Max may not leave for ages yet , Bea will probably go into Honey’s place with the builders there knowing her then refuse to move out !
Might see a few extras around in the hotel , but it’ll be a mystery how it keeps going. A bit like most of the businesses they all have which nobody goes in. Apart from the pub!

The b and b is ridiculous. Linda wafting about that green feather duster in 6 inch heels is like something out of a dated French farce. I wouldn’t fancy waking up with a hangover in there. Looks like the designers had a few rolls of wallpaper left over after they decorated Phil’s place. Both living rooms are so claustrophobic. Elaine has been made into some sort of caricature. The actress is overdoing the role. Must be exhausting. But then there aren’t many on EE who can act are there. Jack’s one of the worst. Only decent actors are those who play Denise, Vicky, Linda and the lovely Patrick

Kat was wearing a camisole under a jacket the other day , this particular fashion is rubbing off.
I used to like Elaine in the pub , but since she has the hotel she is unbearable. Maybe she needs a nice man around as George was good with her.
Or employ Max to do maintenance and cleaning ! His a good odd job man. Make him work for his keep lol

Yep, Eeelaine has gone from having an 'eart o' gold to being a nasty, snidey woman.

PP is kitsch and tacky, and it's frustrating that it couldn't also have looked quite stylish.

And then Linda saying the decor wasn't her taste, when she used to have walls covered in flamingos and a huge silver bed.....

PP is a newly refurbished shit hole. Could have done so much with that property. Whose old house is it? I lose track of who lived where
