I thought Gillian Wright’s acting was brilliant as manic Jean. She doesn’t get on my nerves one bit. (Mind you, I’m quite highly strung) The bits I want to fast forward through are the pointless exchanges between Oscar and Jasmine. Just like “fillers” for the episodes. After starting off hating the Oscar actor I’ve really warmed to him. He’s cute and funny. Bit of a long shot but does anyone know what the music was in the background in the scene in Harry’s Barn when Nicola and Harry were planning their revenge on Ravi? Shazam is unable to identify it x

I think it was 'in for the kill' by La Roux.

That was definitely playing at one point, anyway as it took me a couple of minutes to recognise it and I was concentrating so missed some dialogue. My multi tasking has gone to pot over Xmas.

Ravi is such a dramatic actor, he was originally on the stage , so he is very good at the more angsty tortured parts. I do like him, but it’s sad he has beaten up his own son :( awful

Yes, also Nicola gave Ravi the drug dealer’s name to start with. She also has blood on her hands for a lot of this as well!
Ravi is already informing on people ( so in danger, especially if they find out etc ) and now this with his son. It’s not looking good is it !

Yes, Nicola really has no right to a seat on the moral high ground with this.

I do get the impression that Nicola is enjoying all this despite the fact that Harry was being drugged up and held hostage for ages and Teddy is in prison for killing Oakie ( even though he didn’t)
She seems to like the danger of it all. She was in prison for using dodgy lip fillers once. She is definitely bad news ( as Teddy told Billy)

I love Nicola. Best scenes are with her in them. The school reunion thing was so dull. I don’t think they know where to go with Linda. Honey’s simpering made it worse. Pointless bringing Nish back. I’m surprised the actor agreed to it. Hope they keep the revenge plot on Ravi going. The show needs a bit of oomph after all the dreary Zoe stuff and a flat Christmas.

The reunion seemed to be an excuse to bring in Roni Ancona's character. I wonder how long she'll be in it
