Considering how hated Max is generally , a lot of people were getting ready for this wedding. Peter was avoiding it as was Jack , but going by the food and matching ties , others were invested in it and Ian as best man too ! They are mortal enemies usually

Ian and Cindy will never forgive Max for Steven's death not in a million years. He tried to pay him off on New Year's Eve 2025 and said to Cindy he'll get rid of him for good.

I think Ian hasn't actually forgiven Max so I think him being best man and so desperate for the wedding to go ahead is actually a hint to something.

How could you be a ‘ best man’ to him with their history ? I mean it’s so ludicrous isn’t it.

Here’s my take. I reckon it’s Chelsea he’s marrying. That’s why Libby was there. Ethan could be the baby of Chelsea and Max, so Denise’s grandson and that’s why he’s at Jack’s. It was only Chelsea who looked like she was messing about with a wedding dress. Linda was just at the mirror doing her make up and it could have been any clothing in Cindy’s suit bag.

It was, he was in the credits.

If they had only just got around to boarding up the window, whatever went on with the rescue and the two children was close to Christmas or during Christmas So all this won’t be solved for ages ( unless there are many more clues , the biggest one , of course , whoever gives birth to baby Ethan , at least it will explain why Jack was caring for him and depressed)
Max this year will be up to his old tricks. He also needs a job too ! ( drug dealing with Ravi is my guess)
