I think you could say the same for some of Balvinder’s dances (although I think her choreography has mostly been a bit better). I just wonder how difficult it is for new pros to get to grips with UK Strictly and the criteria/game play after being used to a different competition an culture. I would imagine its the same for UK pros moving to the equivalent series in other countries. Each version will be a little different and each will already have established favourites.

I agree that George seems to have been let down by the choreography. I wonder if perhaps new pro dancers should just be in group dances for a year at least. I think George would have progressed more with an established pro. Especially when established pros are benched.

And wasn’t the Shirleys gush for that year? Each year she seems to have one she gushes over and one she dumps on. This year its LV and Balvinder but there seems to be one of each pretty consistently. I wonder if that is why LV is getting so much extra screen time compared to the others but I can’t remember if Layton had extra on screen compared to the others.

I’m sure this didn’t happen in Shirley’s first couple of years so I find it odd.

I think that would be a very good idea. I get the impression that strictly is different from say dancing with the stars. So they should learn the uniqueness of strictly first
