I think the trouble with the CC is that it's become a personal expression and so is difficult to mark down. If it's something to do with your culture or the death of a loved one, it would be a bit insensitive to down grade it.

I think CC tends to be interesting at sorting the wheat from the chaff.

Fewer dead-nanz would be good though.

Yes, when someone is dancing about their experience with disability or the traditional dead nan its very difficult to criticise the dance if its not great. Plus I’m honestly never sure what the criteria for judging really are for this section. It seems to be utterly random but generally overmarked for what it is.

I am unsurprised LaVoix has the CC for this week which should see them safely through to next week (unless they don’t get the DO bounce)

Yeah, I'm not sure how the dances are decided or allocated? He was in the DO last week, so could have gone before the CC. I agree that they seem impossible to mark.
Who would have the heart to mark down Bobby Brazier dancing about his late Mum?
