It's the shoulders to hips bit that let him down 🤣

And his face.............
Which just looks like a man's face, plastered in awful make-up.

I think his face is quite effeminate. Yes, overdone, but feminine still. There’s a warmth to his face as LaVoix.

JoeMarlerseyes · 15/11/2025 20:09

Voted 3 for Vicky and 2 for alex.
didn’t really see amber dance as Nikita was so distracting 😊
was a bit bored by the sob stories

Coffeeishot · 15/11/2025 20:10

I really enjoyed la voix and Alijaź Chris's dad is an absolute sweetheart.

I don’t like Lewis. I haven’t seen journeys or him improving or learning. Even Layton learned.

Yay. Thought it was just me.

AliTheMinx · 15/11/2025 20:11

Lewis (3), George (1) and Amber (1).

What’s all the hate on la voix? Yummy mummy middle class prejudices are loud and proud on this thread 🙄

Edited

I'm not a yummy mummy or middle class. I find Paul funny actually but he's a bloke and putting on a dress cannot and never will make him a her.

Kreepture · 15/11/2025 20:13

PrizedPickledPopcorn · 15/11/2025 20:07

He has improved though, the difference between his ballroom now and what it was week one is quite clear.

He may have learned quicker, but he is obviously putting a lot of work in alongside a natural talent, so making it look easy, but he's learned an entirely new discipline.

Yes, me too. Just lovely. Lots of people on here don't like LaVoix, so I gave him a couple of votes. I liked his comedy as well.

ilovesooty · 15/11/2025 20:14

PrincessScarlett · 15/11/2025 19:59

Tonight's voting is the most obvious example of fixing the leaderboard. Amber top to stop her being in the dance off despite Lewis being better and La Voix marked high enough to get to Blackpool. They didn't even try to hide the fact they want La Voix in Blackpool. It's insulting to all the other celebs.

Agreed.

Kreepture · 15/11/2025 20:15

Guildford321 · 15/11/2025 20:12

its isn't making him a her, he's never claimed to be a her, but la voix, as the character he plays is a female, and as such, when performing as la voix, her is the correct terminology.

Same as with Lily Savage and Dame Edna et al.

Your prejudice is neither here nor there.

PrizedPickledPopcorn · 15/11/2025 20:15

betyoushopatboden · 15/11/2025 19:56

I don’t know if anyone watches it takes two but alijaz and chris were talking this week about how technically challenging it is for them both switching from rehearsals to live performances due to the difference between Chris and la voix - it’s a change in body shape & size which changes everything like frame, balance, centre of gravity ….

they both have to try to navigate that and so no… it’s never gonna be technically perfect to be fair.

Edited

They also have the added disadvantage of lack of authenticity. Chris is always acting, never able to really communicate as himself. So there’s no integrity. It’s all surface.

He knows she isnt real, i get posters don't like drag or the campness of La Voix but it is just a character he performs in.

PrizedPickledPopcorn · 15/11/2025 20:17

I dislike drag, but have enjoyed La Voix’s quick wits. He’s been entertaining.

EsmaCannonball · 15/11/2025 20:17

Nine Hours In A Squat - Ken Loach's new film.

From a Township in South Africa to Blackpool; or My Life and Where It All Went Wrong.

Balvinder is a superfan and her face says she knows exactly how this script goes.

Couple's Rumba? Rumba Choice?

The atmosphere of Lewis and Katya's tango put me in mind of Kelvin and Oti's but the music was nothingy and deadened the impact a bit. I think Kelvin had that slightly rough-around-the-edges vibe that gave him the effortlessness Craig wants.

Amber did well not to slide off that pleather and Crisp 'n' Dry number Nikita was wearing.

I actually like La Voix. I find modern drag acts a bit rubbish but La Voix reminds me of old-school northern comics, Coronation Street back when it was good and Victoria Wood characters.

Pashazade · 15/11/2025 20:18

Just caught up, La Voix was the weakest, there were some really sloppy bits. She should be in the dance off, sadly I agree I think Bal is being thrown under the bus. Chris was very dignified but fuck off with waiving his mums wedding dress at his Dad for the VT, that felt harsh and unnecessary.

xsquared · 15/11/2025 20:18

PrizedPickledPopcorn · 15/11/2025 20:07

You don't have to like Lewis.

I don't agree that he isn't learning or improving though.

His performance tonight shows that he's come long way from his wek 1 jive, which I thought was messy, had ugly footwork, lacking in discipline and far too showy.

The Tango was compact and showed control of a back to basics style dancing.

Kreepture · 15/11/2025 20:19

To me the issue here with them all as a whole is this.

Yes Amber and Lewis have experience in Dance, but NONE of the others are improving, they're all stagnating, while Amber & Lewis are continuing to improve, and fix the little imperfections that Craig and the others point out, and its widening the gap noticeably now.

Wolbutter · 15/11/2025 19:47

I think Chris seems really nice.. but should have gone out last week

He should have gone on the awful boxing 'cha cha cha'

Coffeeishot · 15/11/2025 20:21

Did my votes, 2 for Balvider then Karen, Alex and La voix

From a Township in South Africa to Blackpool; or My Life and Where It All Went Wrong

I heard that some of the township folks have been fundraising for Blackpool, which is nice.

I’m TWAM (trans women are men) and Gender Critical, but Chris isn’t saying he’s a woman.

It’s like me taking a part in a play as the murderer, a jewel thief or the hero’s mother. I want to be convincing, but don’t want people to think IWatchStrictly is really any of those. If the mother is called Gladys I’ll answer to that, especially when in costume.

Coffeeishot · 15/11/2025 20:22

Don't know why that double posted,

RainbowSnake · 15/11/2025 20:23

I like La Voix as a person but I do think he’s the weakest dancer left at this point. I think La Voix, Amber, Vicky, Bal, and Alex will be the next ones to leave (in any order) with George possibly going before some of them if the choreo continues to let him down.

I think maybe his dad knew it was there it wasn't a surprise, I just think he was caught out and it hit him.
