I’ve not watched any of the Davis Cup matches - I’m not even sure where it’s being shown? I wouldn’t mind watching some of the final day tomorrow

Davis Cup is live on Amazon Prime Fizzy. Watching Matteo watching Flavio was quite entertaining. He is totally incapable of hiding his stress, at one point he was hiding under his shirt I did feel for Zizou, he was in tears after the match and Flavio had to comfort him.

Did anyone have success in the LTA Wimbledon ballot? I’ve had nothing so far but my friend had the email yesterday.

I’ve not had an LTA email but don’t think I got my tickets through them until about April - wish they would give a bit of a heads up when they’re sending the email out - it was a bit of a stressful scrabble trying to get tickets

Nothing here yet either but like Fizzy I’m sure it was about February when I heard for this year’s tournament.

Today is the first chance I've had to watch any of the Davis Cup properly.

Spain seem to be doing ok without Carlos.

I'd forgotten how noisy Davis Cup gets . (and how bad the picture quality on Prime can be at times ).

Wow- somehow PCB pulled back that tie break.

First blood Spain.

I’m not sure if that tiebreak was amazing from PCB or terrible from Struff. But it makes the tie more interesting, since Sascha is likely to beat Munar.

Spain are through to the finals then. Might be tricky against Italy on home soil - but both teams have proved themselves , without their 'best' players.

Who needs Sinner and Alcaraz? They aren’t even that good.

I think it would be good for either team to win without their top players

I don’t really mind who wins but I would like to see a happy Matteo and Flávio - hopefully I’ll be able to watch some of it - unless rugby interferes - I’m going to try to gain early control of the TV!

I do think this whole thing will further the debate that Davis Cup should think of going to a two year model - although the 'big' players will still have to fit it into their schedule somehow.

It is losing it's shine a little. Scrapping the home/away ties was a mistake.

But it will be great for whichever team who wins -I am leaning towards Italy, mainly because Matteo has had such rubbish luck and it would be nice for him to win something.

I don’t know who I want to win. I like Matteo and Flavio but Italy have won it the last two years so it would be nice for someone else to get a turn. I’d like it to go to the doubles decider, doubles is always my favourite bit of Davis Cup.

Munar has a really good year this year, it would be for him to have a win.
