In terms of (genuine) spoilers, obviously nobody is going to post anything before the programme starts but is it ok to “spoil” the programme as it is broadcast in real time? So for instance, assuming that it follows the normal pattern of someone being banished at the round table and then the fire pit, can we discuss X being banished at the round table once it happens?

WestwardHo1 · 06/11/2025 19:13

Surely we can't chat if that's the case?

I reckon if people are not following in real time, they will have to stay off the thread

JewelleryCat · 06/11/2025 19:20

I’d say it’s ok to “spoil” as it is broadcast like we have been doing. It might be the wrong opinion but my opinion is that when something is being broadcast or has been broadcast then it’s fair to talk about it

Completely agree. TBH I get rather impatient when people get precious about spoilers! Chatting about it as it happens with other people who are not watching live is not spoiling things. If you're unable to watch live, then join in after you have managed to catch up!

Hoping to stay up past my bedtime for this...

WonderfulSmith · 06/11/2025 19:49

Right. I’m set. Contact lenses out, make up off, pyjamas on. I just need to brush my teeth before bed.

That’s what I was thinking as well.

I’m in agreement. Like lots of programmes, once it’s broadcast on terrestrial TV it’s fair game for discussion in my view.

This is already feeling like the longest hour in my day - and I walked 40 minutes to the dentist earlier. Looking forward to the final, it always seems so cosy around the firepit!

Will stay up for Uncloaked as well, if only to find out where Ed Gamble was. My money's on the banshee in Charlotte's bedroom, or the drummer from last week.

I’m certain the drummer.

I'm watching Race Across the World which is only second to traitors in my opinion.

CaveMum · 06/11/2025 20:31

Another in agreement that this is a TV pace thread - if you can’t watch along live then avoid this thread until you are watching. Thankfully we’ve got about 2/3rds of a thread to fill so fingers crossed we don’t need a new one!

WatchThisGladys · 06/11/2025 20:32

I'd love to stay and talk about it as it happens, but can't watch it until Saturday 😫, so will be hiding the thread soon.

I don't think all of the faithful have played a terrible game. I think they've chosen not to vote off suspected traitors until it was too late to recruit more. I remember the night when Jonathan was supposedly at risk of being murdered because he'd been on the losing team. He came into breakfast the next morning and nobody looked surprised to see him!

SmallAngryPenguinWoman · 06/11/2025 20:44

Agree with PPs, it's not a spoiler if it's been broadcast on BBC.

Edited

Plus its fun to share comments “live” if you are the solo watcher when its showing. I like the watchalong threads for the couple of things I watch live.

gingercat02 · 06/11/2025 20:58

2 mins!

QueenOfThorns · 06/11/2025 20:59

DH has gone out tonight (the plank!), so I’m all alone. I hope you don’t mind me watching along with you all?

littlbrowndog · 06/11/2025 21:00

Yay. So excited

QueenOfThorns · 06/11/2025 21:01

I’m so excited I’ve nearly finished eating my snacks already! Will need to top up

EdithBond · 06/11/2025 21:01

Here we go!

SmallAngryPenguinWoman · 06/11/2025 21:02

Count down.... c'mon!

Choux · 06/11/2025 21:02

It’s 9.02 and it hasn’t started yet!

DancingTurtle · 06/11/2025 21:02

How many adverts? I think iPlayer is perhaps running behind?
